Yes, he can afford the flat. He had a posh flat with Cleo but it's the fact that his grandfather who basically raised him all his life doesn't want to see him or talk to him that is getting to him.

I'm not surprised that Diane doesn't see that Edward is slowly breaking her marriage with Tony apart by manipulating Tony. Diane is a late bloomer so she often doesn't find out things until it's too late. Hollyoaks will probably drag this storyline with Edward until either Diane divorces Tony, gets back with Edward, and finds the truth about Edward, or Tony goes off the rails and tries to end his life.

If I was held captive for weeks by my son’s murderer, yeah I would lounge around too. That card will be pulled by me over and over again for months if not years. Psychological trauma like that you just don’t get over.

I know right. Tony is probably suffering from ptsd so he is going to need at least several years of therapy to help unpack his psychological trauma. Yet Diane is complaining about not having her husband back after Tony has just came back home several weeks after barely surviving months in the hellhole that Breda put him in. Like Diane, either get off your high horse and help Tony with therapy or put Tony out of his misery.

@@ekuz986 The problem seems to be that Tony doesn´t realize that he needs professional help together with Diane. They can´t struggle with this alone. Edward is a manipulating and cold character that doesn´t seem to care about his son but only wants to make things worse.

@@ann-christinenilsson4046 I think that Tony feels that he is less of a man to Diane because of Edward's remarks. And Diane certainly isn't helping Tony feel better by crying and complaining about Tony being weird. Edward is most likely a psychopath so he is unable to empathize with his son. Therefore, Edward views Tony useless and probably doesn't understand why Diane would choose Tony over him so Edward acts out his anger on Tony by pushing him until he cracks. The first step to Tony's recovery is to convince Tony that he isn't less of a man by going to therapy to talk about his feelings.

@@ekuz986 I agree with you about Tony. Edward may have psychopathic traits but I don´t know if he is a 100% real psychopath. That subject of psychopathology is complicated. People think that James is a 100% real psychopath but I can only see that James has shown sometimes very psychopathic traits which is different. Anyway, Edward seems to have a goal and that is to seduce Diane to be with him again instead of helping his son which is a very appalling behavior. It feels like Tony has post traumatic stess syndrome and that he needs professional help. I am glad that Diane notices Edward´s small attempts to get her back though.

Of course Diane would want to have everything go back to normal. She gave up on her marriage with Tony and slept with his dad, Edward. 😱 Diane is just going to throw in the towel without bother trying to understand what Tony is going through and his possible triggers and how she could help him cope with them. Even after Mandy took the time to give Diane advice a few hours ago about not rushing to get back to how things were, to take a step back to see from Tony's view, and get Tony to see the psychiatrist.

@@ChelseyLinden I guess that Tony did eventually went to see the hospital therapist even though Edward tried to mess with his head and dissuade him from going to receive help. Now Tony knows about Diane's affair with his father, Edward and there's lots of drama created for nothing because I think that Tony might end up forgiving and even getting back with Diane despite all of this unless Diane dumps him for Edward.

I don’t get Toby & Celeste plan, they say their here to hurt the people who made him go but that was Walter who made martine give up one of her chirldren, and Mitchell has done nothing to them and he’s the one hurting the most. I really don’t like how hollyoaks has gone with this, but I guess it’s kinda good because sadly people get outed all the time and they get their power and control taken away

Toby and Celeste doesn't know that Walter made Martine give one of her children up because she couldn't cope. I think that's why they want to get close to Lisa to find out but they don't know Lisa was kidnapped as a baby. She doesn't know anything. They want to get to Martine by going through Lisa first.

When Tony disappeared, of his own volition, for months on end when their child was dying Diane had no problem with him coming back and wasn’t angry or terse, but here he is surviving what he did and she’s so unpleasant and not sympathetic? I don’t get it when they make a character’s motivations inconsistent.

Michael Clark maybe she feels that if that’s his solution to everything that she has to find another way to show her distaste at his approach of how he handles the important things in their life when it’s not totally happy for everyone. She knows he is hurting but how he has hurt their relationship and family is not a great way to handle it.

I hate Walter with a passion he should lose Martine and Lisa too and I love how Lisa went off on Toby but I wonder if Celeste actually likes Romeo or just using him either way Romeo needs to run away run far away he don’t deserve to get hurt he has been through to much and I’m glad that Mitchell and Scott is officially together

Martine and Lisa should stop wasting their time yelling at Walter since he is so set on his beliefs that he doesn't want to even hear them out. Instead, they should support Mitchell and help him come to terms of his sexuality in a safe and judgement-free environment away from his homophobic grandfather. I'm glad to see that Lisa isn't that easy to manipulate as Toby originally thought. But I think that Celeste is most probably using Romeo as her play thing until she gets bored or someone better comes along.

Mitchell is a trainee and he is supervised and mentored by Misbah. Also, I think that Mitchell thought that he could eventually mend his and his grandfather's relationship before Martine barged into the store and started yelling at Walter so he went out of the store and saw Scott and Mitchell together.

@@ChelseyLinden He hates what his 'mom' did to him. That feeling of being unwanted sticks with a person. If not dealt it can consume you, Causing all types of issue. IN Tobby's case it causes him to enact a revenge fantasy. However the fact that he see's what he is doing is hurting people and destroying peoples life's and is shown to waver and have small fits of rage. some would say small breakdowns , Means he undstands this is wrong and he dose feel bad about what he's doing. Yes he always ends up doing said bad thing but thats because thats something he probably base alot of his life on the very idea of revenge. dose that help? ps sorry its so long.
