No problem, I live up in north carolina my water pipes was somewhat frozen but thawed now, im just glad I still got my guitars in 1 piece, you know if its too cold the wood can crack or warp, btw I think a good blues lesson would be a couple songs from peter green, he tends to have good licks as well as making black magic woman.

Tough to get new strings with the snow closing down the stores & blocking off roads till i get new strings i got to use my nylon string guitar, take note in case of snow pack food, water, tons of guitar strings (.10), classical guitar, les paul, amp, wah wah pedal, and a stuffed penguin ( dont ask)

Hi Eric, I have a question here... my music teacher tell's me that B and G string are more often out of tune than other strings on a (electric) guitar. I hope to know something about stress in materials and things like that and hopefully one day able to build my own guitar. I've never heard this before and at this point I'm unable to match this in my technical background. I'm not sure if this is true or based on some of his personal experience... Is it just a coincidence? If truly so, whats the reason for this? (I don't mean any bridge or tuning machine's issue's here) Thanks!

Hi Wim! I don' t build guitars, but sometimes what people BELIEVE are facts get in the way of things. I have never had a problem with tuning of either the G or B string on a guitar UNLESS the strings were OLD. As strings age, the unwound strings tend to die first, causing them to be harder to keep in tune. New strings rarely have this problem in my experience. As soon as strings become hard to tune on a guitar of mine, I change them. Problem solved. I have had strings stay in tune for months, and have had them die on me in a week if I did a show when it was hot or humid. Rock on man!
