Eric! I know why you can't break it off the ground. Because you're not meant to grip it! Put it on the crooks of your elbows. That is how the human body is intended to lift heavy objects.

Grip and rip point is definetly on point, when i did mixed grip deadlifts i would get discomfort in back, and uneven load. Then with hook grip, its extremely secure hold, its symmetrical, and is super fast to setup compared to straps (so you dont lose on that explosive power because of long setup, definetly a factor in deadlifts!!) I was actually hitting PR's at first with double overhand grip because of the first issue i mentioned, but ofcourse i was losing the grip after lockout pretty fast and rep work was out of the window. Hook grip is the shit. But you still need to work your grip. ive found working my forearms (the finger curls with bar behind back) helped me alleviate elbow pain from squats

The beauty of the fat gripz is that you are forced to grip it hard with your fingers thus increasing forearm muscle activation. With regular dumbbels it kinda off just rests in your hand with your fingers kind of holding it in place, if you understand what i mean. With the fat gripz you are forced to grip with all your fingers instead of just holding it in place in your hand. Training grip is great for just about every exercises there is. It really helped my benchpress when training more direct grip. The more and harder you grip, the more CNS activation you get which is critical. Also, you look like Dr disrespect, put on some sunglasses on your next video, lmao

Ultimate grip training happens in the rock climbing gym, my dude. Rock climbers have ridiculous grip, because its all that's holding them to the wall. You can get a rock climbing grip trainer set for your pull up bar that'll let you train pullups with four, three and two finger grips. Campus boards are also awesome for this.

It's thicker than most pinch blocks,it's designed to emulate pinching two 45 pound plates together but the strength you get off it is unreal,it takes chalk really well also,I got mine in February and it's hands down the best grip implement I've ever bought.

The guy drink a gallon of coffee a day, I wonder who else does-did that.. I don't know, don't care. He outlifts 90% of roiders, and hurts himself in competitions, so he's a complete badass to me.
