"The Royal Albert Hall is Eric Clapton’s home away from home in London. Since his debut at the historic venue with the Yardbirds in 1964, Clapton has performed there over 200 times. Eric also holds the record for the longest run of concerts at the venue. He set it in 1990 with 18 shows, then broke it the following year with 24 concerts. They were some of the most ambitious shows of Clapton’s career. Each night featured him performing a career-spanning set with one of three lineups - a rock band, a blues band, or an orchestra conducted by Michael Kamen.
To commemorate that record-setting run, Clapton released 24 NIGHTS in October 1991. The double live album and home video delivered great performances but only covered a fraction of what was filmed and recorded.
All the audio and video from 24 NIGHTS was painstakingly restored and upgraded by Clapton for THE DEFINITIVE 24 NIGHTS, which will be available on limited edition boxed sets as either 6-CDs or 8-LPs on June 23. Both versions come with three Blu-ray discs for the video content, a hardbound book, and an individually numbered lithograph featuring a photograph of Clapton by Carl Studna.
Standalone versions of the individual concerts - 24 NIGHTS: ROCK, 24 NIGHTS: BLUES, and 24 Nights: ORCHESTRAL - will be released the same day in 2-CD/DVD and 3-LP (Rock and Orchestral) and 2-LP (Blues) configurations.

Totally agree Ruddy, I have Live at Montreux 1986 and Eric Clapton and Friends Live 1986 on dvd both great concert performances from these guys. Greg and Nathan add a magic touch to the sound with Phil's wonderful drumming and fill patterns. I love Clapton's guitar tone and guitar chorus effects he uses in this period. 👍

Or Bob Dylans 1983 album "Infidels" with Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare on drums and bass. Hey everybody, I saw the movie last night on a huge screen in a new theater in Scottsdale, AZ and the movie is just great, with alot of fantastic songs played in different settings, with the large orchestra, his large band with horns, the blues set with Buddy and Albert, and then just the 3 guys and Eric, but Phil Collins should not be part of this as his style is just old pop music, bring in Steve Gadd. But the hits are there with a few surprises. Find the movie playing in a repeat schedule and pay the 15 dollars as it was very nice to hear Eric and everybody as loud as it can be in a movie. You will have a good 2 hours listening to the best. Enjoy and have fun. .
