Excellent, makes your instructions in stages much easier to follow.

Eric, thanks so much for doing these style videos and thanks to your students for being willing to be a part of them. So helpful to see in a lesson setting the same things we've been talking about in my online lessons. Love hearing the students voice thoughts, concerns and feelings that I myself have had and getting to hear your response to those. Keep up the great work!

Thanks for this style again. It’s so helpful to see the imperfect swings improve. It’s so nice to see your instructions being put into action. And thanks to the students being willing to expose their faults. I love this style of video.

Thanks eric, the last two coaching videos are very helpful. My swing is too long and sometimes too upright so your drills suit me perfectly. Much appreciated.

The thing is, when you shorten the backswing, you make better contact with the ball and compress it more, so you hit it longer even though you have a (visually) shorter backswing.

Great video Eric. What I find with my swing is the importance of transition from back swing to forward swing. Swing speed is what it is. Except the distance that you hit with your clubs but make a smooth swing. Thanks buddy for being here for us.

Haha this is so like me.. and I battled with it for years and still couldn't do it (unless it was a practice swing). Then what helped me was the thought.. when your upper body and hips stop turning on the backswing the hands stop going back as well. That helped me to stop disconnecting hands from the body.

I like Eric’s lean back on that second go of the drill after those two heel shots. I was also leaning away lol. Happens to all of us 🏌🏻♂️

Like these style of videos. But, am still waiting for part 2 on how to fix a client's Dynamic Lofted Impact Position, for those who stall their rotation, and end up chopping at the ball

Good stuff. Interesting how the feel of half swing is a correct full swing. I had same problem. It took a while to convince my brain it was enough of a backswing. Looking down a fairway the John Daly swing would creep back in again.

Brilliant as always thanks Eric but sorry one question is why the half way back to half way through before half way back and full through? What does that first swing do for us long swingers? 🤔🤷🏻♂️🏌️♂️

On this lesson he was still not swinging half way, it was much more, does he need to practice those punched half shots that you did with Steve, i find that practice fantastic and that was a brilliant video, keep them going i love your instruction
@dwboston12 жыл бұрын
Eric wanted him to feel he was swinging halfway back - compared to his previous overswing, the "feel" of halfway back gets him in a near-perfect full backswing position.

For sure niki....work in progress He needs to FEEL half to get to "normal" full was the pt there
