We need more Larry and I'm so happy he is finally embracing his awesome past as a metalhead. Never feel embarrassed by it. Kids born after you would easily switch places with you. Watching your videos actually brings tears to my eyes. The late-80s to early-90s felt like a magical time I wish I can go back to. Now the rest of my life will suck just trying to watch content from that bygone era because I miss that feeling living like that 30-35 years ago. Nostalgia is bittersweet but brings us back to that happy place.

It’s amazing to me how these guys implemented technology in a way that people didn’t understand, I’m surprised they never ended up creating some WWW1 social portal for metal heads (or maybe they did). I’m probably ten years younger, and I remember downloading Napster when it first came out. I didn’t realize how much the music industry was about to change, or how spending all night up on AOL trying to listen to two new songs was the start of something special (and so much change). These kids didn’t even have the internet and still kept recordings like this around? That’s amazing to me. I’ve lost so much shit that isn’t stored in the cloud somewhere. The earliest version of like “social” music media I remember was like friends getting ahold of a Metallica VHS box set and we’d buy pirated copies. I was a little too old for mixed tapes, we burned CD’s but it accomplished the same thing.

Larry is so freaking cool. Does he have his own channel? You can just tell that through this channel right here Larry is able to release that inner teen from back in the day and he's just loving it even though he probably was hesitant at first once he embraced it you can just see the joy when he's involved. Larry is fucking awesome and if he doesn't have his own channel he damn sure needs it.

You could definitely say this is one of the albums that defined the 80s. People say glam rock from that time sucked but the truth is, it was probably some of the best song writing we’ve ever gotten because of how timeless a lot of the songs are, not to mention they were all zooted when they did make music.

I'm working as an Interactive Voice Response Services sound editor and I understand entirely what's going on and how the media files are created! 🙂 And the lossy quality of the songs is because, it is CCITT u-law 8 KHz, 8Bit, Mono 7 kb/sec Wav (or *.raw format if it is 1988, I suppose) so, basically, this audio format is ok for Voice announces but not suitable for the music!
