I think there’s another reason Zane Smith at FRM feels just right. Because we usually see Todd, Noah, and Zane hang out a lot, I think that personal connection could give them an advantage with communication and improving performances.

I'm very happy to hear this news, though it's not too surprising. I figured it was contingent on the charter situation. I would have been in favor of Zane getting another season before his mid-season surge. I say that because I do think he's very talented and just needed more time and a better team situation. I think back to last year with Gragson before the controversy. He looked exhausted and defeated in interviews, then he came back to Cup in 2024 and was running decently immediately. I think he was about to figure things out and the time away probably helped to get his mind right. Zane's rookie season was going similarly poorly to Gragson's rookie year. With that said, Zane's surge in the second half of the season proves he's got what it takes to at least deserve more time. Seriously, his turnaround in 2024 was astonishing and should be remembered. As for the number stuff, that's probably due to marketing reasons due to sponsors and drivers shifting around. Specifically, with Love's sponsoring Gilliland, it probably was easier for the drivers to change numbers.

I live abt 20 mins from bowman gray. To us it’s urban cuz outside of Winston Salem and Greensboro it’s mountains and farmers so it’s urban. It’s next WSSU where rajah caruth went to college. NASCAR still chose an urban area just not as urban as LA and lot more people know what it is.

I'm not sure if you mentioned this Eric, but apparently Rick Ware is not going to put Corey LaJoie in the #51 car for 2025 Full Time, instead putting Rick Ware's nepo baby son Cody Ware in the car even though he should not be in Cup based on what he has done. I'm quite pissed off about that, because Corey earned that ride with his results in the last 7 races, and he's not going to be put into the car because Tommy Baldwin is still butthurt at Corey LaJoie for something that happened 2 and a half years ago in a modified race. No wonder why Tommy Baldwin's Cup team failed. Rick Ware is going to lose all of their sponsors due to Cody Ware. You'd think they would get a wakeup call from losing the support, and millions of dollars from Nurtec, but no. Might as well sell the team and charter to Dale Jr., and also as a lesson, never look up to people you would consider as heroes in the underdog side of the sport.
