I enjoyed your rental editorial (it was very educational, interesting, inspiring, insightful)... I’m planning on making the move from NC, don’t know when or where I would like to live in FL... ( doing research now).... So did you have to have first month +security deposit? Or how did that go? Why did you have to keep checking out for towing? As if you had to keep moving your car? I thought that you had a regular parking spot? I know that you had gotten your garage.. thanks

Thank you. Deposit was only $350. You get a parking sticker, different ones for ppl with garage and without. Parking rules are different for each so had to make sure I was parked correctly.

Very nice! I like what I see in this complex. It's a great place to stay until you figure out what your next move is. Question, can a renter have two vehicles?

They only give 1 sticker per lease holder, so if its just you and have 2 cars, probably best to have a garage or the 2nd car will have to be in visitor parking. Other complexes may do it different tho.

Schools in this area are good, rated usually 7-10 on GreatSchools.org check out the site, my son loves his new teachers and has been making friends at school.

Yes it's higher for sure. I pay about $300 for 2 cars with liability coverage, I paid the same for full coverage in NY.
