And for me I think the hi flyer was hard to beat on blew,negative creep and dale demo songs meanwhile the epiphone et 270 was the superior guitar on the other songs

@@Silverfan97 Many people really underestimate ET270. Perhaps because this guitar is not as popular as Kurt's other guitars, or because it was used in the not-so-popular era of Nirvana. Even despite the pickups, it sounds incredibly great, to be honest, I did not distinguish the difference in many points

TWO BLEACH ERA GUITARS!!! EPIC!!! Also the hi flier beside the K Strat and the Epiphone beside the Hagstrom looks cool. IMO, The Hi Flier really recreates the studio Bleach tone while the Epiphone can nail the live shows. Also can you do a shoot out between the Epiphone and the Tele?

The ET270 sounds better than the Hiflier in my opinion. The way the single coils sound a little blown out when distorted just feels perfect for Bleach! Great video as always Eric!

Hell yeah, outstanding comparison! Gotta say was surprised how full sounding the epiphone sounded, even with the ds1. Definitely reckon the hi flier is the way to go. Think a good shoot out would be the hagstrom vs one of the hss Strats (think the vandalism would probably be the closest to Pat’s hss purple Strat) for Pat’s live tone.

May I make a recommendation? Maybe you could record the direct out on your guitar and rerecord the amp performance later to get string noise out of the equation. Also for recording with less room noise you can put a moving blanket over both the amp and mic so you can hopefully record without background noise. I understand if these solutions don't work for you and your specific situation, I'm just offering some solutions that helped plenty of bedroom musicians.

Oh shoot I didn't think of this either, a lot of attenuators have mic emulation like your tone master so you can use something like the Bugera PS1 to get a line out signal from the Randall.

if i allow myself another guitar someday, i should get me a hi flyer...those eastwoods look so damn cool, and of course sounds good,. even though here, i kinda like the epiphone better, because i'm a sucker for single coils....also, for when you mic the randall, you might consider some sound dampening, maybe one of those things podcasters use around the back of the mic could tame some of the bleed? but if you don't use it enough i suppose it wouldn't be worth the time or money...

As a person whose borrowing a hagstrom II, the tone i get with my bluetooth amp with like 3 knobs sounds somewhat accurate to the kapu club show and i love it. Kurts hagstrom is my favorite bleach guitar.

The twin reverb he use was a twin reverb transform in a head so he used a 2x12 cab that was loaded with G12M-70 that what bring 90% of the tone of the bleach era

They sound exact to me. Maybe the Hi Flier is a little more bassy with the lower strings, but I bet in a mix it's indistinguishable
