The stuff he said bout the withdrawals is the realest thing ive ever heard anyone say about kicking prescriptions painkillers. Especially if you are a regular citizen with a job to maintain and all that even if you wanted super bad to stop its almost impossible to go to work everyday let alone to be productive in any manner for like 3-4 weeks straight after you stop. Then you gotta think about family obligations/holidays etc etc. on top of trying to maintain a positive attitude while getting zero sleep and fighting off the thoughts of how you ended up there.

I never looked the part. Nobody assumed I was on drugs until I WASN'T on drugs. I was spending 20 to 40 bucks per day from November 2022 til February 2024. Every single day. U do the math. There was 2, 3 day periods when I tried to stop and was in so much pain and throwing up so much, I couldn't take it. 2day makes 2 months of sobriety. I'm never goin back. I wanna LIVE! As a recovered addict of almost 10 years, he is 100% right. I started using vicodin and tramadol at around 19-20 years old and switched to Oxy's around 25 years old. The lady I was getting them from was prescribed Perc 15s & 30s, oxy 80's, 10mg methadone pills, and the gel fentanyl patches. She was doing sexual favors for her Dr. to get all of that prescribed to her. She was a crackhead so she would sell me the 30s and 80s for real cheap and give me a bunch on top of that to take her to get crack, so I had an endless supply to do and sell. She would put like 4 patches on at a time and one day she OD'd and drowned while taking a bath. So I lost my plug and started withdrawing because of that. My uncle sold heroin so the only thing I could get was that. So I started doing that and there was no difference in the high, it is literally heroin in pill form.
