Super funny. Just saw Johannes (not the founder, the other one ;) ) two days ago in the gym and was talking with him about the new volumes and now he's popping up this video! very nice! If you are ever around in the area of Saarbrücken again try to visit RockTown in Kaiserslautern. World Class Setting!

Awesome, thank you guys a lot for the Insight! I hope bananavolumes will continue to grow and innovate :)! Regarding ideas: I'd love to see basalt style volumes (haven't seen them so far), so these long and thin columns. Ideal for some interesting crack boulders ;). Apart from that I'd wish for more small but modular volumes mainly for home walls. So basically small volumes that you can put together to a single large volume or put separately to have diversity. Home walls gain a lot from volumes, but you usually either buy some small ones that don't do all that much... or one big one and then there is no space. Something that gives you options for your creativity at home would be awesome. Also, awesome that you have volume kits for very reasonable prices! (Please more :)!)

I guess the price is reasonable just not affordable

@@aaronstark9692 the kits are small volumes that you can build yourself. They are 15 - 30€... I'd say that is very affordable...

We have been building our own volumes for our gym for a couple of years. And we mainly have a problem with durability of the coating. We use an aquarium sand and a one component resin that is normally used for boats. But we don't have an airbrush for applying the sand. And the coating wears of quute quickly. I think I might send them guys an email. Thanks for the coop and the cool video. :)

Hi Marek, that can be done, we will think about it 🙌 However, it is difficult to put holds on round volumes.
@marekfrisman7908

@@bananavolumes4653 Yeah later on I realized that in order to put holds on round volumes they would have to be somewhat round themselves and all of that together seems a bit impractical.

Would've been lovely to hear about how that sand is sourced and what thoughts are put into sustainability aspects during production! Would be cool to know how sustainable e.g. this kind of perfect sand is or the paint and glue they use, where does the wood come from. Maybe a bit boring for some people for a video, but I'd like to know :P
