Might be your best video yet, Eric, even without Paula and just a cameo from Flynn. Maybe because I’m a native Oregonian, maybe because I did USTS Bud Light Hagg Lake Triathlon back in the mid-80s, definitely because you’ve got your stoke back for the rest of the season!

Great video!! I agree the race was awesome and should be much bigger! I loved the venue and the people! Btw that is me you’re passing in your pre ride:). I won the women’s race for the day!! It was so fun to be the first gal on the slippy slide but I didn’t slide far at all!

Watched this one whilst running on the treadmill, inspirational. First class Eric. I commented a while ago that Paula and yourself seem to both perform at your peak when you have a single focus on your own events. It’s a strange outcome but one that is worth keeping in mind. But hey I’m just a hack amateur, you do you and keep kicking ass!

CONGRATULATIONS Eric - Well earned & deserved (after a couple of bad breaks this year). Another amazing Video / Editing Production - incredible scenery. Wonderful full circle back story, Your Emotions came right thru & that's wonderful. Sounds like a trip back to Your Roots was Perfect. Agree 100% on excessive heat (and cold) events - risks vs reward calculation no longer makes sense. Wishing You continued Success Training & Racing - Stay Safe too😊

Eric, I loved and connected with this video and the vibe on so many levels. I'm sure it was only uploaded at the last minute because you wanted to make it perfect, mission accomplished! Congrats on the victory, although aside form the "business" goal getting achieved, it feels like the win was less important to you then your other goals and the reconnecting, recharging, etc. We all need alone/me time every so often and it only strengthens our relationships. Looking forward to the Collins Cup next weekend, go Paula!

Great video! Most definitely best in a while. Not sure what going on with xterra either. Where are all the people. Races are getting canceled. Such a bummer. Good luck in Italy.
@ThatTriathlonLife2 жыл бұрын
I don’t think it’s being marketed well enough in the right places for one thing, and the skillset required is a bit unique., but from a pro perspective, the prize purses have become tiny and the races are so few, it doesn’t make sense for many people to dedicate time to it. Fortunately, my sponsors are excited about anything new I want to do, but that’s not the case for everyone. I’m hoping to help it revive with these videos, but at the end of the day, might just have to start putting on our own races… more gravel-y I think would get more people

Congrats on your WIN Eric, geat to see you have a good one! Enjoyed your story and the footage, that really is a beautiful location. Some of that off road terrain looked pretty challenging, but I guess elites are use to that type of stuff. I know for a fact that off road riding builds strength and skills for "roadies" (me). Thanks again for your quality videos every Sunday!

Just watched the end of the video, nice race,,,and I think why you felt so go, is you had full control of your pace,,,its very important, if someone is infront of you, you continue to run your race, like I dont even look at anything but the ground when I run, its a endless treadmill, but I did see some plank work,,,you know how I feel about that,,,,see you soon:)

Another stunningly shot video even though you were on your own, Eric lol. You really need someone of Britain's biggest rock bands on your music edit. Muse, who has a new album out in around 3 weeks, Fab mountain biking footage, and another win, you two are on fire at the minute. By the way, did I catch you munching on Precision Fuel and Hydration gel another great British hydration triathlon-related company, anyway another Sunday is complete My training is done, and my weekly catch-up with all things That Triathlon Life video is in the bag, stay safe see you both next week, much love from the UK?
