*I love that we got to meet Penny's Mother and Brother (And that they casted the legendary Katey Sagal, of **_Married with Children_** fame) and Jack McBrayer (The voice of Fix-it Felix Jr. from Pixar's **_Wreck-it Ralph!)_** to play them... But I've always been disappointed that the show omitted to have Penny's sister Lisa, the one who Penny said "Shot her husband" in an earlier episode, in this too! (Probably for budgetary reasons with all the great actors playing relatives and appearing in this two-part episode) I always thought from the first mention of her that they should have casted stand-up comedian Iliza Shlesinger to play her: She has the look and a personality that would have been perfect for the role of Penny's sister! (... Oh well! Spilled milk and all!)* 10:06 - *They also have two other children who at least Beverly adores more than Leonard: I would have expected her to at least to correct him that they had **_THREE good things_** come out of their marriage... The showrunners pretty much dropped the ball on the family trees in this episode!* 😅

I think that this episode is actually really great. I think that it shows pretty well where Leonard and Penny came from and why they are drawn to each other. Their families are a mess and they are both largely pushed to the side as a result. They might not have the same interests or levels of intelligence, but the truth is coming from dysfunctional families can bring two people together more than anything else.
