im filipino and half japanese, those food you ate are, ginataang gulay na may hipon, paksiw na pata, sisig, sinigang na manok, and kinilaw na isda and atsarang ampalaya. filipino food is great ❤️ happy eating
@Lance.Valle17 жыл бұрын
Ishin Sasaki yes, it is sinigang but we don't really call it sinigang na manok. Most refer to it as sinampalukang manok.
@ishinsasaki83797 жыл бұрын
TheDreadlockcamp ay mag kaiba ung sinampalukang manok at sinigang na manok sa sampalok, ung sinampalukang manok may mga baby leaves ng sampaloc. pfffft.
@Lance.Valle17 жыл бұрын
Ishin Sasaki It doesn't matter if there are sampaloc leaves or not. The soup base is still sampaloc. Yes, you are right when you said it is sinigang na manok but you just simply don't call it sinigang na manok. A better way of referring to the dish is Sinampalukang Manok.

I am Filipino and Great that you like our cuisine! You should have ordered rice though, although we know you are not partial to it...but it is essential with any of the dishes you've ordered to balance the richness of the meat dishes. Try it and you'll surely give us a six star by then 😊. Also the sisig must have been served on a sizzling plate to get that added visual effect..with all the crackling and hizzing sound to whet the appetite. Sisig maybe an acquired taste for foreigners but it goes well with your San Miguel beer like what our menfolk like to eat it with. 😀

Hey there, Eric! Thanks for featuring Filipino cuisine, finally! If you had rice to balance all the flavors out ...for sure it is going to be 6! ☺

Sisig is more of a hangover food but became a favorite dish for lunch and dinner. It's also perfect with beers.

Start with shrimp coconut curry (really big prawns), pig's feet & banana flowers, then a sisig made from parts of pig head (here, cheek & ear) and chicken liver, usually seasoned with calamansi, onions and chili peppers. Tamarindo chicken vegetable soup. I have heard of Filipino Sinampalukang Manok, chicken in tamarind soup *same thing?). Kilawin marinated tuna fish. Ginisang Ampalaya (sauteed bitter melon, aka goya). Lumpia egg rolls (yay!).

I was like like "Where's the rice?" while watching this. I'm Filipino but I think the flavors of the food are too overwhelming without rice. I think the rice balances out the deep flavors of our food. I can't imagine eating Sinigang or Adobo without rice. :P

Hey, I’ve seen your other videos and they are equally entertaining. Just wanna request that you tell the viewers the location? That will be very helpful. Ginataang Hipon (you should say the A's independently, the same way the O's in "coordinate" works) Paksiw na pata Sisig (That egg looks partly cooked, also mayonnaise isn't that common for this dish) Tamarind soup (never heard of tamarindo before) Kinilaw na isda (basically raw fish marinated in vinegar with red onions and ginger, I guess it's like the sashimi of the Philippines) Ensaladang ampalaya (bitter gourd salad) lumpia (simple eggroll)
Wow.....i'M pretty hungry and the way you ate that sour tamarind soup, its EPIC ! That bitter melon you ate was one of the best healthy vegetable for your body. It cleanses and thin your blood.
