How much fluid would you say is in one of those ¥100 Sake cups? I can't believe all the things and the prices of things you'll find in these machines, in most countries you'd be paying a premium for the novelty (suppose it's not a novelty in Japan) of it being in a vending machine.

That ticket system, I've used it at a Japanese road rest stop. It's a good system because it eliminates mis-understandings and the people preparing your food aren't handling money, which can be quite dirty.

One of most playful episodes of EMT out there for sure! I don't think there is a vending machine that is not interesting, especially in Japan. Yet, I think the most interesting are those unique, individual ones, like the one with bugers that was in the wall of snack bar/restaurant. My request idea for the merch: put "Cheers and beers" on a glass (maybe pint glass or a mug), and maybe something with "Eat a duck and mouse" on it.
