I just did this, and the comments are right, the battery is way more stuck down than it seems but it can take a slight bend and be fine. My screen was cracked beyond belief so taking the screen off was super easy. All in all took about 1:30 hours.

Replacement works fine. The video helps a lot. Just one aspect that wasn't shown: there is a little end that must be plugged in and secured in the back of the LCD before testing the touch screen. Thanks.

This video makes the process look easy, however be aware that the psmart is practically glued together. I managed to follow this vid and replace the screen but getting the back cover off, removing the battery and removing the screen all took WAY longer and were much more difficult than the video makes out.

The reason why I wanted to fix this smartphone is because the only phone that me and my brother use is a Samsung Galaxy s7 and we share it. I was just wondering if I could find my old phone and fix it so I found it and I am following this tutorial and hope everything goes perfect. The other reason is because I want to see those old memories I had with this device.

Did it, thanks alot for this. for anyone trying this, make sure if you order a screen, adhesive film comes with it. at mine, it wasn't, but i ran wit it since it was more of an experiment. but it greatly helps to secure the screen during more twists and torquing in your pockets.

Ive just replaced mine, found the video very helpful. The screen powers up however the touch doesnt work...do i have a faulty screen? all leads are properly attached

Is there a way to just reattach the original screen? My phone screen has come away from the back case completely (it still works) and it doesn't need to be replaced, just reattached. I'm being quoted £90 to repair it from shops which seems a lot given the phones value and the fact that the screen works!

My glass screen is cracked but the display and touch screen work absolutely fine. Will i need a full LCD replacement or is there a way to just replace the front glass panel?

It would be difficult for technician to do that job if they don't have machine to compress glass to lcd. do glass replacement with your lcd may take much more effort than just replace a full LCD

That is *not* how the back cover is properly removed in this model. You pull the SIMM tray, slide in some thin flat implement between the back cover and the tray holder frame, twist, and the back cover will pop right off.
