Hi Eric, I just did this and had a massive release of emotion and tears. I believe the psoas muscles is also known as the "muscle of the soul' and stores up past emotion and trauma. This was evident from my reaction to the release technique. I'm thankful for you showing this new technique and helping share your knowledge. I'm currently studying to become a sports massage therapist so your videos really help me understand anatomy and physiology. Cheers

yes to Activation. love the isometric stuff iwth the arm pressing against leg to engage the hip flexor.....all that leg lifting over and over again is popping my weak hip. learning to move slower with more engagment, i am curious if the weakness is in upper or lower psoas. i have shortened QL on left side with left hip pain, i find that if i work on lengtening QL and stregnteing my side bending it also helps release leg from hip socket...

This video can help you to better understand psoas activation: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bGSngoClhMmtmqs The pain you are feeling is likely related to muscle activation. How long does it last? Hopefully, it subsides as you strengthen the muscles and restore balance to your hips. - Coach Joshua, Team PM

In the second part when you are bridging and lifting one knee up, you say to not rotate and to stay flat through your torso even with one leg up. If I am having trouble with this stabilization movement how can I work on that? Great release techniques too!
@PrecisionMovementCoach4 жыл бұрын
Can you put one arm out to the side for more support? Can you try not lifting up very high? Perhaps there is a height that you are stable at and if you go higher you are less stable?

Is there pain associated with the noise? Typically noises that are not associated with pain are nothing to worry about.
