Finally a guy that gives clear instructions, and films every detail up close with perfect lighting to boot. Hats off to you sir. Well done.

Thanks! I was not going to film it but thought I would because I could not find a super detailed video out there on this.

@@tumbles94there definitely is a need for installation videos for the e ride. Hope you film all your modifications like this. Super helpful.

I really like how clear and concise you are with each step! By far, the best DIY video for the jackshaft to date. Well done Sir

I’m not sure if you have seen my “ Eride Pro SS How To: Remove Belt Pulley “ Video I made but I have that same exact aftermarket belt pulley I got mine from MXpartshop I actually bought that pulley before I even bought my bike because I knew when I got my bike it would arrive with that shtty Version 1 belt pulley and I didn’t want to ride that stick one at all and I didn’t want to waste my time with the version 2 warranty belt pulley..at the time it was before warp9 came out with their jackshaft so I’m still running the stock jackshaft but I’m definitely upgrading to this warp9 jackshaft soon as I can spend more money on my bike😅…also in my other video “ cable management part 2 “ I used that same black plastic hose for my rear break cables like your bike haha 🤙🙌 great video I think yours is better than mine…🤷♂️

Oh yeah I watched to see how hard it was and it was helpful! You let me know what pulley you used and I got the same one. My bike had the one that needed to be replaced as well and thought this new pulley looked better. The Warp9 Jackshaft is nice and came with everything including new seals for the bearings on both ends. I use that plastic line coverings everywhere I can just to add some extra protection. I pretty much ride in the woods 100% and no street use really.

How do you know if you got version 1 pulley or 2 on eride pro ss
@tumbles94Ай бұрын
Go to this spot in the video and if it has welds like my old one then it should be changed. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qZaqlYCtaseAadE If it does not look like that and your bike is newer you may have the new one. It looks thicker on the side and has like little screw looking things if I recall. If you bike is under warranty you can get the new one sent to you for free.

I like that number plate on the side of your bike how it’s zip tied on..looks kinda of ugly but I like that, people say my bike is ugly all the time because I have custom plastic side panels zip tied to the sides of my bike 😅
@tumbles943 ай бұрын
Yeah I had to make that on the fly for a woods race I did using some old signs they had laying around. I like how it look all homemade and stuff so I have left it on and it has held up. Yeah I am not worried what others think..lol

great video with clear instructions i’m new to the e bike community what exactly is the benefit of getting a new jackshaft and pully?
@tumbles943 күн бұрын
I am new as well to e-bikes. There were some pulleys from eride on new bikes that would come apart while you were riding so they would warranty them out. I just replaced mine because I had one that was defective. While I was there I went ahead and put in a stronger jackshaft because I may upgrade the motor and battery later and this one can take more abuse I am told. You are also able to grease the bearings on it easier as well.

Thank you for showing this! Whats the width of the belt? Thank you in advance and keep it up 👍🏼
@tumbles943 ай бұрын
Thanks! I think it is 20mm width from the specs. It is the same at the stock Dayco belt. Gates 560-8MGT is the part number.

What size spindle nut socket is it?
@tumbles942 ай бұрын
Not sure. I got it from rev rides and it may be for a suron and I semi hammered it on. Once I bent the little tabs it fit fine. I can't find any part numbers for it from my recept.
@tumbles942 ай бұрын
Some people use a flat blade screw driver and a hammer to spin it.
