I’m literally laying in bed, crying like a baby. Just finished the season finale and not able to find words for what I feel now. Their relationship was incredibly special and more than beautiful. It was indeed way too short a topic in the series and I am devastated by the fact that he won’t come back. I’m too romantic but I can’t help myself - this was too much for my heart. It showed not only that Erik was a brutal Dane but a loving man as well. Who’d has guessed he could be such a kind and polite gentlemen? It was a shame he was killed by his own brother. Especially while thinking of the fact that he would have given anything to save him when Uthred wanted to kill him. He had a true heart.

I was so upset too. I felt they did Erik really wrong and could have stretched this out a lot longer. I don't really think Uthred is very cute so them killing off one of the 2 hot guys really pissed me off. (Ragnar is pretty hot without that face tat)!

SJ N I absolutely agree. Those two are seriously hot even though they’re Danes (normally those Vikings with their strange hair cuts and violent personality are not really my type) and I would probably fall in love with Erik either because he’s so kind and carrying. I feel like this beautiful love story and in general the whole relationship between Aethelflaed and Erik was the missing piece in the series. It gave the whole thing a special touch. And they just gave it two episodes ..

Has anyone fallen in love with Uhtred played by A D? He makes me feel nothing. Then, Erik appears and instantly everything flowed and the feelings appear as well. And I knew, long before Erik fell in love, that Erik played by Christian Hillborg would be part of the soul of the series, along with Ragnar and Beoca. But not Uhtred, not Alexander Dreymon. Did you know that Christian Hillborg auditioned for the role of Uhtred? I can't stop thinking about how would his Uhtred have been?

I just don't find myself at all attracted to Uhtred. He's short, sleeps with anything, and falls in love with every female. Erik was just beyond yummy, and really fell in love. I really think Erik deserves his own series.

KZbin was forced to block them because Lionsgate are a bunch of A-holes. I don't make any money off my channel and I always list the music and show name and Lionsgate has decided fans who do fan videos and advertise their shows for free should have their videos blocked. I've never had this happen before so I was shocked. I loved that show but I will never watch anything from Lionsgate ever again. I could understand if I made money off the ads but I've always turned that down for this exact reason because I don't own anything and never wanted to deal with a copy right issue. Thankfully KZbin is cool enough to warn me and not give me any strikes. They just can't play them since Lionsgate has nothing better to do then harass KZbin and their own fans.
