For me by far the best rendition of this song, Erik and Jona Tee (guy on the piano, his friend and producer, amazing musician). The Animals version is fantastic, of course, but Erik's version made me feel the desperation portrayed in lyrics that I never felt in their version. I hope you will check out more of his amazing covers, like I Will Always Love You, Dream On, God's Gonna Cut You Down and one of my favourites- a cover of Sabaton's Carolus Rex that he did with Tommy Johansson. Erik has also a very fun and awesome thing called Wheel of ForTunes: he chooses a genre and a theme of the song by spinning a wheel and then writes a song according to the results (together with Jona Tee). Very worth seeing! Thanks for an amazing reaction as always and hope for more of Erik's music

All of his songs are out of this world,he is a gift from above. So thankful he is still among us to share his beautiful voice and talent and songwriting,he’s a pure artist kind,funny, and loveable. The song “ I put a spell on you” is one of my favorite songs , there are glimpse in the video of him in the hospital doing chemo and hes saying to his body he felt it was under spelled And for me it hit my heart because I know what he sings about it felt like he put the spell on the cancer to leave the body. You should also watch his “ spin of tunes” videos where you can see him write lyrics and make songs about of the craziest “ song titles & genre” I can write forever about suggestions, you just should you dug in to his channel you won’t be disappointed

Swedish Idol started in 2004, me and my sister watched everything, and her husband was sitting in the same room very reluctantly, until this little boy won in 2007(I believe)suddenly it was interesting😂,this voice singing metal on this show and won.
