He's so relaxed, chilled, and calm... His sould pours into his work and art. A true artist. Watch his mannerisms and the passion for what he does... How intricate and delicate he is with how well he plays... And that guitar itself plays well for him.

discovered this vid as the last of the new ones... this is most impressive. Different styles in one piece - beautifully combined. and I almost missed the little "Equilibrium" piece...*big grin* Love ur attitude btw loads of love from germany

Been a fan for some years now. This one keeps me coming back. It will get stuck in my head out of nowhere. I think its that neo classical style with such beautiful embellishments

❤ I remember listing to this when it was uploaded. I still love your compositional style and work. Unmatched in the music world, Erik!

the mental capacity that this type of acoustic guitar playing takes is insane.... and erik completely masters it. the one guitar sounds like 2 or 3. along with playing the guitar Erik also adds in a pounding sound to make the song even more complex, but it isnt complex as in Eddie van Halen or other guitarists out there who play very fast...and most of the time sloppy...he just plays a different kind of complex....a crisp mellow complex.

Erik is so unique he often doesn't evoke anyone else, but I hear Pierre here, don't you?

I feel like music comes from heaven and there are those of us who are lucky enough to hear it up there and can remember enough to make a song. Don't you think. I'm so happy I can play Guitar! I have a Breedlove D25 Atlas Series.

u said it dude. not many guitarists tell a story through the guitar anymore, let alone a complex story such as Erik. so many guitarist have to sing to tell the story, unlike Erik, and dont use all of the guitar, such as pounding and slapping his finger to get a more rugged and harsh sound.

The vibrating tone is perfect, and all the other tones match perfect! Fantastic job Erik.

well u see in most band they will have a singer to tell the story or the point they are tryin to get across and there can only be one possible story or explanation. with Eriks songs, there can be many interpretations and they are very detailed.

with guitarists like eddie, it's more like there mind only has to be in one place to tell one story. But eric's mind appears to be encompassing a much larger idea that he's trying to expose through the guitar with more elements then it seems the guitar can handle. That's just the way it seems to me.

there was a vid clip in there from 3:26 to 3:47. The vid clip was from Equilibrium. Only reason i noticed it cause ive seen Equilibrium vid so many times :) oh and also his legs are crossed a different way.

This is currently one of my favorite songs but at 3.28ish there is an odd few seconds where what he is playing doesn't match the audio in the slightest. I know this is an entirely live piece in one session I am hearing but has 2 different play troughs for the visuals. Think the editor should have picked up on this as erik deserves better as he is a masterful and beautiful visionary

So why's this piece on youtube!? I think conveying that meaning to strangers (and likewise strangers conveying to me) is part of why I find music so captivating and rewarding. And if a girls not impressed/moved by this then you can safely ditch her!!
