They're not feeding problems. Only one had problems. The 300 NM single feeding was operator error. Most feeding issues are.

Now Eric mentioned somewhere in the comments on this thread the magazine needs to be tuned. Now that can only mean the spring, follower, or feed lips and probably the latter. The 3 P’s avoids the 3 P’s.

That day was the first time using an AW style mag in that rifle and also figuring out that it holds 11 6.5cm rounds and not 10😂. After recounting 15 times and finally finding the 13th piece of brass in the grass was whenever I came up to let you know my mistake Thanks for having us and would love to do it again (with 12 rounds ) lol

That guy with the .300NM, you could feel the panick in his movements. The whole time he was in FULL adrenaline mode. Movements hurried and uncoordinated, kept trying to cycle bolt on empty mag (with mag having bolt hold open tab). He did good but man he was the opposite of smooth

Could the misses be from preloading the bipod and recoil . Kind of like trigger finger placement . Put your finger in to far you have a tendency to pull to right . If you use your finger tip you have a tendency to push trigger missing to left .?

It is not. The shooters have to aim the bullets high so that they fall where they are supposed to at distance. No different than shooting a bow at long distance or even throwing a ball.

@@willtrax71 Hmmm.....Thanks for clarifying! I do think it's a little comical that you criticize his caliber choice but cant even spell it correctly (Creedmoor)....twice. I'd also like to know which chassis cost $4,000? The most expensive in this video would have been that new Foundation Samson which retails for around $2,000 USD. The Savage shooter probably learned more than anyone else in this video and he has my respect for getting in front of a camera to do it. He may grow out of the 6.5 Creed and into a more precise round (for within that distance) but that's not everyone's desire, application, or budget.
