Dear Erik, I have been watching your advetures in renewing the old ways to make home and hearth. Also I appreciate when you share the animals around you and when you bathe in icey cold water! That is impressive. It is like wstching a wood sprite living in a fantasy forest! I enjoy it so much! I used to do such work in my early adultohood and watching you brings the joy of self reliance and the benefit of solitude back. I had a major assault on my body in a simple surgery gone horribly wrong with flesh eatig bacteria. My background of being hard driving is the only way I survived. I was not expected to live two weeks and it has been since 2005. I almost feel I can enjoy the feeling of lying back on the animal skin you use to watch the night fall. Your treks trough the snow on your skis with your unexpectedly cute and small companion dog reminds me of something I loved from childhood. I have no idea if in your sphere of knowledge you would know this, but it is an annual holiday classic most American children and adults enjoy. It is the stop action puppetry of Rankin And Bass's Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. At one point the group leaving "Santa's village to find their own way in the world" are met with a prospector looking for gold and sliver in the north. He has a dog team made up of a poodle, a few dogs like yours and even smaller ones like chijuajuas! It's the funniest thing to see and you sweet little red doggie trotting along at your overland skiing looked exactly like Yukon Cornelias's dog team! Thank you for hte joy of relase in watching you respect and enjoy nature while making responsible use of its bounty to live on the land. I hiope you can realize how uplifting this program you created is for so many people. Thank you for your drive, and ambition and for sharing it with the world. I hope you are able to gain some financial support with your ineraction on You Tube. You most certainly deserve it! Was anyone else yelling “Eye Protection” and wishing he had goggles? It’s kind of funny but my daughter just started playing “The Forest” yesterday and I’ve been watching. We had a discussion about how hard building a cabin and hauling rocks would be in real life and how my mom grew up in a log house in northern Wisconsin. My grandpa worked in a pulp mill for a dollar a day. Then I stumble across this guy today. This young man is amazing. I was so afraid he’d get hurt.

Video games are a waste of time even when its fun and i speak from experience. I have wasted multiple 1000 of hours on this senseless bullshit and i never get that time back. Im a music producer but in the time when i started making music i often played videogames instead. When i should have learned for school i played cs go and got drop out from school. You stay dumb when you play a video game you maybe learn some technics on how to get better at the game you play but thats mostly all at least from my side. Be aware that video games causes in your brain Dopamin distribution. When for example you kill somebody in a game your Dopamin Level gets increased. You get slightly happy when you reach something in videogame and thats bad for you on long term because reaching something in a video game is nothing compared to reaching something in the real life. Simply explained: When you play a video game you get happy. When you do something what is worth it, when you reach something good in your life you get happy like working on your dream, doing sports etc. But now that you have the video games you get happy for no worthwhile reason and the real life tasks seem boring now because you can get the Dopamin/Happiness much quicker by sitting in front of a screen instead of doing something usefull. You can learn about Dopamin Detox if you want to awaken your energy. And the another problems is that if you play videogames at night the screenlight keeps you awaken and and you go later sleeping so you sleep less when the alarm clock is ringing. That means that you go tired through the day with less energy for the real life tasks so you reach less then you could. Lets say you play 4 hours a day for 4 years noe that would be 5840 hours you have wasted. Im sure you played even longer than for 4 years. And now because of the quarantine what do you think how many people play now endless more hours? Dont you think about what you could have reached in all that years when you instead of sitting in front of screen playing games you would have worked on reaching your main dreams? Do you want to make money or do you want to sit infront of a screen? I know its fun playing with friends etc. but always ask yourself what you get from playing a video game and then evaluate if its worth it wasting the full potential of your life. And even if you dont wanna admit it, deep in your heart.. you know its true ;)

Sometimes we hear a call from nature. When I was 18 years old I ventured out alone with only a backpack full of simple hand tools to actualize my dream. Build my own traditional off grid log cabin by hand from the materials of the Swedish forest. Just like my forefathers did. Please share this video with someone who would enjoying it after 2020. edit: Tractor is a Ferguson TE20 from 1946, they were wildly used to move timber. In 1950 the first chainsaws came to Sweden but they were too big and heavy to be practical. I didn't want to take down every closest tree. So by using the tractor I could haul a few trees from further away, about 150 meters. I would have loved to use a horse but don't have one. yet.. I still had to drag most logs by hand because of the terrain. My business contact: erik@delkatalents.com Instagram: @erikgrankvist_
