It’s amazing how much work and money has been put into restoring these exhibits and keeping them clean and shiny, and blowing away specks of dust every day

Thanks Erik!! I haven’t been to Lone Star since the first time they were based in Houston, at Hobby, before they moved to Galveston. Great to see how well taken care of everything is!!!

Thanks for these again. Those of us that are disabled and are no longer able to go to these places appreciate being able to see it through your videos. I think the last time I was there was before the hurricane that collapsed a hanger and they had to let the B58 and the Privater go.

Thanks for this video. When I saw that AG14 I said, "what's that?" And immediately you focused on the information panel! I like that. I visited the museum at Galveston a few times before and after hurricane Ike. I had opportunity a few years back to visit a number of museums but haven't been able to visit LSFM since it moved. I remember the first time I visited, I considered Galveston a risky location. Sadly true. But it's not the only museum that ever suffered from severe weather...

That DC3 shown on this video. My husband flew as captain when he worked for PBA. He was highlighted flying the DC3’s in the first published Air&Space magazine. This plane was used in PBA flights around Florida. But PBA was shut down and planes were sold off. My husband should be listed on the flight logs.

My father flew for Sabby (PBA) early on, well before his sons' expansion to Florida. My father talked Sabby into purchasing their Ford Tri Motor. I'm the youngest of his large family. Some stories didn't get re-told often in my time but I remember some of it. Small world however.

If that link trainer works it's in a small minority that do! Nice to see it in US colours too.
