Erik. I found this by accident and thought that I would watch about 20 minutes of it. My 1st. Helicopter flight was in 1979 into the Grand Canyon. Well, needless to say I watched the full Hour and 45 Minutes or so. Thank You. I have 2 DJI Drones now and due to this I will be buying another one tomorrow. The DJI FPV Combo so I can get in the the seat of a Helicopter, well sort of.

I truly wish that bell would bring the 222 fuselage design back in a new helicopter! I know the 222 is outdated overall in todays standards, but I can’t see why it cannot be upgraded with avionics and power. The 222 has always been my favorite style chopper

The specifications are all very impressive, it is somewhat curious how the helicopter has quietly improved over the decades and certainly very interesting to see where it has come. Aircraft like the Sb-1 defiant show an even more high performance potential future in the next few decades as well.

Helicopters suffered a critical blow to their development when the Cheyenne was cancelled. Its propulsion system, performance & especially range were so advanced that they would have kick-started a revolution in all helicopters. Today almost all towns might have a heliport with scheduled service to other towns and even other countries. Instead we're all stuck commuting by car or train.

You can really tell the difference between people legitimately with the company and those who were hired through a casting company to be a "product specialist" pretending to know anything about aerospace. The dolled up women acting as if they know the engineering and technology annoys me because it's a job that mainly goes to women and any guy trying to get in are asked to know basic to intermediate knowledge of the field they are applying for beforehand. I know this from experience in other trade shows and casting companies.

@@ErikJohnston really pointing out that these large aircraft manufacturers will take and post the diversity photo, but when it actually comes to hiring anybody other than white men it really doesn't happen. Help me understand why there would be 1000 people in this video in the United States of America with 96% being white men. There was a few white women, but that is basically it.

@@mrfixit7047 Is it the large helicopter Companies that don't hire black women, or that black women don't really pursue jobs in helicopter operations. I'm sure these companies have black women working for them, in HR, finance, etc. The people at the expo are front line operations. Most are ex-military that either flew, or commanded helicopter operations previously. It just isn't a career path that many black women pursue.
