Volleyball has really grown. The game is ridiculously different also. Especially how quick the game is. Also in transition. 30+ yrs ago, it was pretty much high balls all the way out to the antenna and quicks on top of the setter. An occasional pipe over the middle. And the opposite. Now it’s literally a guessing game. Especially with teams like USA, Japan, Italy, Brazil and Poland. To me, those teams have insane pace and chemistry. In transition, the plays that are run is just mind blowing. To be on the same page in transition takes a crap load of practice and repetition. I absolutely love the game today. 🙏🏼💪🏼✊🏼❤️

Great vid as always Erik. My only gripe about the volleyball season that just finished was that there will never be another Olympic qualifying tournament like the ones just held in Brazil, China and Japan (for the men). It was so chaotic and unpredictable (especially the Brazil pool) and I just loved it.
