My wife and I went to Laurel last year to visit and everyone in that town should chip in to build a statue of Ben and Erin! That town would just be a blip on the map without them. 90 percent of the businesses in downtown would not be there without them.

Moved to Sebring 10 years ago and don't regret it. They're accurate in what they say about the town and I've already seen crew since the announcement in the downtown area planning and analyzing their projects. Pretty exciting times for this sleepy little town.

As a travel nurse on assignment in Sebring, it was a nice place with friendly people. Don't swim in the lake. It is beautiful but gators and snakes like it too. It's a couple of hours South of Orlando. It's in the middle of Florida.

@@ihide_inboxesI primarily live in south Florida. There’s usually never a Chik-fil-a (being built currently) and a Starbucks with no Target. Then you also have every other major company in Sebring such as Home Depot, Lowe’s, Walmart, Publix, etc. All I’m saying is I’m rooting for a Target and a wholesale such as Costco but I think Costco a little of a higher reach than Target.

Dearest Jennifer, I have a Sister, her name is Theresa Mc Daniel, she is one person who takes care of the world, she will give her last. If you could surprise her, for me, this would be so awesome. She is from South Bend, Indiana. She wants a new 1 floor home to care for others. I have no income for that, but if you all help her, you would be helping the world. I don't know what else to do, She is an angel. Maybe her family crush can help, renovate a house from ground up, as a surprise.

Interesting observation about the over saturation of decor perfection. But was struck immediately is that HGTV leads the way in this phenomenon. BS budgets, whole house remodels which no one in the middle class could ever afford, always stupid white furniture for families and other absurdly impractical design choices. No small houses, no tight budgets, no tough choices in their or other’s show. Just saying…

Why does everything have to be white? lol also, they have our circle closed off here in SEBRING and a lot of businesses that are already there are starting to suffer from money loss the elderly keep these places open but because they’re having to park further away, they’re not even coming around because they have to walk too far

I’ve lived in SEBRING all my life we are not some little town off of the beaten path we are known for the 12 hours of Sebring, which is one of the hardest endurance races there is this is why I don’t like TV shows they make you look like you’re nothing of a town and they came in and made it popular. That’s not the way it works. 😂
