I haven't had this blend for many years. I do recall enjoying the lemony flavors coming through. I have trouble finding warm weather blends that I really enjoy; I reckon I'll give this one a try this summer. Good to see the Bewly again. Take Care.

Yes, this one will taste far better when the days are warmer to match the nice Virginia. And yes, mate. The old Bewlay pot a grand old baccie blazer. All the best to you.

While I'm primarily a Latakia blend lover, I do like a Meerschaum full of Erinmore Flake first thing with mugs of tea.

Thanks for the review and history of this famous tobacco, If you have a chance I'd suggest trying the flake version of this, surprisingly it differs quite a lot from RR, a great looking pipe you have there too, Have a nice start to this weekend,Paul

Who know, Paul - One day the flake version may cross my path. I do not however think it is one that you can but in small samples. I have learned the hard way not to buy large amounts of unknowns. Cheers.

@@thepedallingpiper7553 You must get at least one 50 gr tin of flake for comparison, I bet you shall like,it is bolder yet mellower in taste pretty good nic hit as well)))
@thepedallingpiper75532 жыл бұрын
@@paulthescandinavian4992 It sounds nice that, Paul! Nevertheless, the same thing applies. I will not risk spending nearly 2O quid on a tin of something that I am quite unsure about when I can blow the same amount on many stronger types that I know I love. Plus, as you may appreciate, one can unintentionally end up hoarding a lot of baccie that just sits there at times.

Hi pat, erinmore mixture has now been discontinued in tins, packets only now, no great loss imo! A poor interpretation of what it was, the flake however is excellent, i did see in a previous chat that you had a tin of mcconnell scotch cake gifted! One of my favourites, not strong (im a lakeland man too) but a cracking smoke. Take care mate, Mark.

Absolutely the truth about the pineapple emblem, many Manor Houses had pineapple emblems. I prefer the flake. Murray's was in my opinion the best, sorely missed Excellent OTC, alas. Hats off to STG for their version of Petersons Irish Flake, a fine tobacco. Must try Petersons 3p plug soon. The original essences in Murray's Erinmore Flake were oblivious tin unopened. They were floral and fruit. Great review Pat. 🇦🇺🇬🇧🇦🇺🇬🇧🍓🍇Over supplied with pineapples due to excellent season at the moment in Australia.

@@thepedallingpiper7553 Well, my good fellow, we have a glut of that fruit here at the moment. The plantation near Mareeba was a favourite motorcycle ride for both of my dearly departed. The "seconds" were too big to pack. A parochial aside. I still love your country and I suspect Michael Portello saw first hand how we have treated this country before the bushfires.!!
