The look is beautiful, but I have to agree with you on the bronzer/contour shade in the palette. It is way to cool to just warm up the face, I much prefer the bronzer shades for that! The lipsticks are all keepers!! Thank you so much for sharing this with us and have a great Labor Day weekend!!

I love Charlotte Tilbury products & I have almost all of her products except for this foundation you used. Debating on whether to buy it as it looked very yellow when you applied it! Maybe as you finish the makeup look it will set more natural(?) I have dry skin so I’m also worried that it will make my skin look too dry! I don’t like muddy dirty look w bronzers & contours! I love my Charlotte darling compact, I still think it’s perfect for everyday! I definitely want all the lipsticks but skip out on the face palette, I still have my instant face look palettes I still don’t touch, but I was really hoping she added more shades! It’s a little too grayish and I don’t wanna look dull, I wanna look naturally flushed and sun kissed so it’s a skip!

I think you should have used Cover star lipstick or Cat walking w the heavy eyeshadow look. The deeper lipstick doesn’t look the best w the heavy eyeshadow look. It kinda looks clowny w the deeper lipstick. You always look gorgeous anyway & I love your channel!!!♥️♥️♥️

I love how you talked about controlling what you buy and not getting sucked in, I've been doing that alot this year, i never bought Zendo i watched so many reviews and the more i seen it the more i thought i won't use this and now we have Retro which is definitely my colour story so am picking this up, i like when the holiday releases get shown way before they come out like the CT holiday palette because then it gives me alot of time to decide if i want it will i use it and i really like the look of this 1 can't wait for reviews 😀

Is that charlotte tilburry foundation a bit yellow in tone? Or is just the full coverage effect that throws off the color for me. In any case , the concealer saves it , it has a much fresher tone

I agree I am over Tom Ford. I think since Estee Lauder purchased the brand it is all about getting as much money as they can. When he sold, it was to the devil. Less quality and higher price.

I haven’t made a TF purchase in a while, at least not the “new” seasonal pieces. I’m a big fan of some of the staples like the eyeliner and I love the cream/powder duo eyeshadow, the lipsticks are nice too. You have to draw the line somewhere, $46 for a blush was manageable but $90 is too much and then $90 for a concealer just because it has hyaluronic acid? It’s getting ridiculous, we know they’re the same products as Estée Lauder and Bobbi Brown! Lol xx

Your eyeshadow is gorgeous!!! I think I will skip out on this launch. I don't use contour so half of this palette will be a waste for me :( I wish CT released last year's face palettes again! I loved the blushes but it sold out before the Sephora sale so I wasn't able to get it lol thank you for this review ❤️ it really helped! I was wondering if I could used the bottom shades as bronzer but I don't think it will work for my skintone

I really like the formulas in the CT face palettes but I’m disappointed in the fact that she only released 1 palette and called it “universal”. The two bronzer/contour shades won’t work for any skin tone that is darker than a medium. I have a warmer skin tone so that “bronzer” would look completely gray on my temples. Anyway, the creamy mattes eyeshadow palette looks really nice, and the lipstick colors look perfect for fall.

They’re not supposed to be warm, they’re both sculpting powders. You’d need to add bronzer if you want that look.

No worries, everyone has a different preference! I like the way I apply my bronzer, I think it looks great in natural light and in photos. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the cool undertone of this palette and I didn't love the look of it on the temples and forehead either :/ xx
