It should be a short documentary about Erisco Foods, but done the wrong way. Channels TV has the means to set up a different arm of their media and focus on making short documentaries to promote nigerian companies out there and make money out of it. This is not how to do it.

I agree with you. But you should know that the problem with nigerian businesses is quality and consistency of products. Not all nigerian companies are like Erisco. Also this company should go public (be a PLC) to raise huge funds for expansion and dominate the market like Dangote.👍

Kudos to Erisco for standing out as a thriving indigenous corporation. Customer service however is the life of any successful organization. They need to do more to educate their home based customers about their products, their plans for the future and their manufacturing processes. Encouraging customers to engage either positively or negatively with them through Ericos own social media channels will further enhance their public image.

Why is this business not qouted on the stock exchange? It has been around since 2004 and obviously worth billions today. If it becomes a PLC, getting funds from the banks for manufacturing, both from the private and public banks will be much easier and nigerians will support these companies. Unfortunately, the typical nigerian business man (especially the igbos) will hold onto 100% of their company for decades. They don't seem to care about the future only to complain about challenges. 😒

Bill Gates is not one and in Nigeria, the late M.K.O abiola, Dangote, the founders of Eleganza and Doyin group of companies, e.t.c are not degree holders. I think emotion controls most Nigerians. The lady said that the tomato paste tastes sugary. I expected Erisco and Nigeria standard organisation to comparatively study Erisco, Gino and other popular paste to demonstrate the Erisco tomato paste does not have more sugar than others. But instead, Erisco preferred to use the resources to prosecute innocent lady

He should simply improve on his products quality its a simple thing he should check the quality of other products in the market and try to maintain it instead of wasting time chasing an innocent lady upandan which will end up affecting his business and make the lady famous . Its just clear his products can't match others .can't blend sugar and pepper together with a little tomato in the name of tomato paste ofcourse a typical igbo or South South person can't keep quiet stumbling on such product. No matter how cry . Such products can sell amongst hausas and yorubas who consume lots of sugar and pepper .
