I mean from winning a match agains Denis, making Devon stay under the table for most of match, incredible match against Genadi where he almost won, then win against Vitaly which many consider as best match in history and finally a very good match against Ermes. No wonder Dave is the yardstick against which if you belong to top 5 is determined.

I believe Levan's attitude at this point of his career is a "Catch me if you can!" attitude. I miss the days of active fighters man, these days once a fighter reaches the championship level its a blessing if they even have two fights a year- often times its like 1- when Canelo had 4 fights in the span of 11 months in 2020-2021 that was a huge deal 3 of them against champs/top guys to, but very rare, the days of Tyson and Bowe fighting like 7-15 times a year are long gone sadly, but yeah awesome seeing greats like Chafee still top rated and being very active!.

@@Andrei19Maran Pushkar isn't here anymore to show us if he could go against Levan, something I really doubt knowing that Devon was able to hold him and beat him. The point is, Levan defeated Chaffee in a much dominating way that Denis ever could. Until Cyplenkov starts arm wrestling for real again, instead of just doing table matches that don't prove anything, we will know if he is a real #1 contender.

Ermes struggling with Dave while Devon manhandled Dave recently, would love to see Devon seriously take on Ermes, I still think Ermes has the edge but it will be close and could go either way.

The problem with Dave is that you can foul him to exhaustion. If you purposely elbow foul yourself during those long pulls, you will eventually wear down Dave's power. It's a cheap tactic but, "if you're not fighting dirty than you're not fighting." - Thor from GOW Ragnarok Also did anyone else notice how hard Dave was breathing after Ermes won the first point?? When they were gripping up again Dave was breathing insanely hard. It honestly didn't look or sound good at all.

when ermes used flop press and pushed levan off the pad clowns started screaming it was intentional elbow foul LOL while at 7:50 exactly same thing happened to ermes while dave was flop pressing him

You can see why Devon won against Ermes here. Devon did much better against Chaffee. Chaffee couldn't even make Devon break a sweat while Ermes was struggling at the begining of the match.
