The key is E-flat Major. The orchestra is the Lahti Symphony.

Is there any hope that concertos #1 and/or #3 may be available one day? There's a brief excerpt of #3 on Tuomas Palojärvi channel from mvt 2 Reportedly #3 was premiered in 1924 and since then no known performance has been reported, nor any recording exists, thus chance that a broadcast recording is available anywhere is exremely low. No news about #1 whose I am aware

Possibly seeking a larger audience, or as a favor to the original soloist--just guessing--Pingoud may have tried to make himself more accessible in this piece (compare with his 3 symphonies). Pingoud deserved (deserves) better recognition. Thank you for uploading!

Great Concerto: Russian gesture & French refinement. May be the orchestra could do a better job in some points (like the beginning of the 3rd mov.). It seems to me that the piece also contains some ideas fully developed by the great Henri Sauguet later on.
