Phenomenal version of a classic song featuring the eclectic Ernestine Anderson, who's vocal waves just take you to another dimension. Hail to you Sisters huh.

The feeling was great, too bad Ernestine and Reverend Jackson never made an album together....I think Hungarian musicians gave them excellent support.

I know they (the quoted MJQ chords) are different. I learnt them from a Jazz book" 557 tunes" they were on the bottom of the page. I also heard MJQ using them. I thought you would be interested.Maybe you should try them,I have a great respect for John Lewis and Milt Jackson. I made my contribution 4 years ago. I don't smoke.

Just checked in Japan MJQ played it in A minor and still using the gist of chords I mentioned. What ever floats your boat. I am using them.

Close, but no cigar, my friend! The harmonies you have written are quite wrong. And I think Milt Jackson is more than capable on deciding his own harmonies, in fact they sound like his choice - simple, but effective......
