All the guys’ solo projects really showed MCR dissected. It’s so interesting. Gerard’s storytelling, Frank’s raw emotions, Ray’s technical perfection and Mikey’s catchy rhythms. I hope their time off from each other has re-inspired them and strengthened their individual qualities. If that’s the case the next record is going to be one for the history books.

That's a shame; there are some beautiful pieces in his collection. But the stories of building a band and how he used which instrument was always nice to hear...well, maybe not misusing, but everyone has bad days. Thank you for the interview. I enjoyed the sound.

people didn't realize how good mcr was until they split. they were always labeled as a lame emo band but they were one of the most talented bands out there. they still are.

That was an absolute joy to watch, all the way through! How I've missed listening to Frank tell stories. Its almost a year now since I last saw him on the UK tour. Feels like a lifetime ago

Listening to him playing Helena hurts my heart like nothing else man. I've been binge watching recent videos of him playing MCR songs on guitar (it really starts to seem like he is MCR unofficial PR guy lmao) and they are all so good and makes me appreciate their talents even more. All I want is a new performance of them all together in one room. Thanks for the video!

I used Ernie Balls one time. Didn‘t thought about it first and went on with my standard Brand. I‘m recording some songs and i just realized, that my Standard Brand Strings already sounded kinda dead after a few days. I think i‘m gonna get back to the Ernie Balls... they really had life (even after a longer time)

This was everything that I needed and more! I always am amazed when I hear just Frank's parts because it really does bring this depth and grungyness to what ray plays, ray brings the beef and the main bits of the song that I thrive on and Frank adds all the thrashes and twirls and angry that I desire! Together it is music to my ears!

So I have a weird history with My Chem. When I was an early teen, I thought that they were a band that posers in the scene for harder music listened to (admittedly, my favorite two bands at the time were like Slipknot and Metallica so all insults to teenage me welcome). Then I got older and very much started to appreciate what they were doing, irregardless of how I perceived their listeners (the people I knew who were their fans really stopped listening to them after freshman year of hs). After watching this video, I can really appreciate what this man put into his music.
