All the guys’ solo projects really showed MCR dissected. It’s so interesting. Gerard’s storytelling, Frank’s raw emotions, Ray’s technical perfection and Mikey’s catchy rhythms. I hope their time off from each other has re-inspired them and strengthened their individual qualities. If that’s the case the next record is going to be one for the history books.

When I was an early teen, I thought that they were a band that posers in the scene for harder music listened to (admittedly, my favorite two bands at the time were like Slipknot and Metallica so all insults to teenage me welcome). Then I got older and very much started to appreciate what they were doing, irregardless of how I perceived their listeners (the people I knew who were their fans really stopped listening to them after freshman year of hs).
