I met Gerard in 2003 at Hell Fest in NY standing near the stage waiting to watch a little known band called Murder by Death and we chatted for a bit and he told me to watch the band and that they were among the best bands in the 3 day hardcore/punk/indie festival and he was right! Oh man, I hoped to see Gerard on the show, but wasn't sure if it'd actually happen. It's SUCH a delight to see to of your favourite bands colliding like that.
