Hardest working man in the industry. Dude has like 5 main bands, 10 side projects and still finds a way to focus a huge amount of attention on his family. The world needs more Anthony Greens

I love an honest interview with an artist I adore and it makes me happy that he's the type of man that would prefer to deliver the message he wants over getting censored for general public-perceived "perfection" reasons.

Your are in my top 3 musical inspirations Anthony. On letting go really woke me up from being a teen to an adult. Thank you.
@3luew0rld772 жыл бұрын
Circa Survive in general is really helping me deal with the struggles of becoming an adult, this is 7 years ago, so I'm sure you're all grown up now but I'm 18 right now and every year it gets harder, not even necessarily because of past events, I mean some of those things still hurt me, my mom was an alcoholic and would have outbursts, wouldn't ever take it out on me but I'd witness everything and everybody else she took it out on, and also my dad was pretty psychotic believing the flat earth and all this crazy shit, but I've mostly moved on from those things, now it's really about how to handle both that stuff and handling responsibilities that I've never had before and things that I NEED to do to live, and the band has really helped me feel like I'm not the only one here, and that this is normal

Y'know, there's not many artist that have really made me feel like I'm not alone, or that I'm normal in what I'm feeling, especially as an 18 yr old, I can't find the words to express how good it makes me feel to listen to every single one of his bands, especially Circa Survive but that's because I've been listening to them my whole life, through my own drug addiction and other trauma that I can't seem to wrap my head around or understand about myself it feels so much more calm and ok when I'm hearing them, it's like the music was made for me, crazy😂

He's in D standard which is why he has the capo on 5th fret. You can put the capo on the 3rd fret if you have it in E standard.

E Standard. Put your capo on the 3rd fret. If you have it in D Standard, put the capo on the 5th fret, instead.

Franklyn Castle Yeah he does. He probably has contacts, or not too much correction in the glasses so that he can see enough without them. He's been wearing glasses sometimes since 2008 at least. He's wearing them in the behind the scenes videos from Avalon. And also during the acoustic performance with Circa Survive at AOL in 2009(I think it was that year?).
