You know something I've always been very good at is paying my Saturn debts with a good attitude. For all that it pains me and agonizes me and shreds me into pieces, I still walk through the fire with firmness, with strength, with faith, with trust, with understanding, but most of all with Gratitude. And though I feel like my life has all been continuos suffering, I don't think the world is out to get me. I don't resent it. I only thank it. I am fortunate and blessed in my suffering. I'm growing. I'm expanding. I'm different. Better a life of suffering than a life of no suffering at all. That is the real tragedy, and real poverty. I'll never stop giving Thanks. It's the most important thing.

Shani is the servant, so cleans up the mess!!"..brilliant. Ten years ago I went into the Rasi Dasa of my 7th house Scorpio.. Saturn is there. I immediately got involved in a relationship where I had to give and give, .. in fact much suffering. I have recently understood, as Rahu is in 6th, that this Saturn in 7th is a karmic debt (12th to Rahu is debt). Even more so now you explain how you have to just pay this off, be at the highest level you can be. Now I am into Rasi Dasa where Dara karka is, hoping for more of a mutual relationship sharing experience! ;)

Very interesting, as always. Thank you. Your approach to vedic astrology seems to be quite unique. As a layman I still have no idea whether the tropical or the sidereal zodiac is more correct and it bugs me a lot but I've been experimenting with both approaches and must say that the tropical readings, ESPECIALLY when it comes to D-60, looked damn convincing most of the time.

+yangcy A lot of techniques are not that rasi specific, especially when using rasi specific techniques you will find tropical works way better.

I do not expect to have any time for astrology readings until I finish teaching a few very lengthy courses that I am immersed in and until I recover fully from being hit by a truck while riding a bike in late 2015. If you are in need of a birth time rectification, my programmer is working on an automated rectification tool that we will put on www.vaultoftheheavens.com as soon as it is up and running and doing as accurate of a rectification as I could do - I expect that to be done sometime after April 2016.

Thanks for the great video! I have a question, when you say a planet influencing a sign do you mean the sign the planet sits in or its Jaimini aspect to other signs? or both? Thanks!

+Silvia G. Mostly with Jaimini aspect, or conjunction. The effects of planetary aspects to signs and houses is much more involved as you have to work out the health of the planet exactly before doing so.

A hundred miles a day no problem, really? The top endurance runners in the world train to compete in events like that which take a good part of the daylight hours and are potentially life-threatening. I guess we are keeping the bar high!

I don't think people are as stuped as you think , you explain thinks in detail about thing like apples and passion fruit eg if people couldn't get it from what you said before that there not going to get astrology, so your wasting your time teaching them , and it takes away from your teaching abilities cute to the case more so you don't get lot in space as a teacher thats what I see
