i dont think going after Spence is a good move for Crawford to tell you the truth, not in his first couple of fights at 147. i dont care what kind of skills u have when you're moving up in weight (again) u just dont know with some guys. that said at 147 Crawford is going to face some fighters who are much much bigger than he is and some of those fighters (like Spence, Thurman, etc) who will be bigger, stronger, and have a lot of skill themselves. What if Crawfords power doesn't carry up and he can't make someone like shawn porter respect him??? what does shawn porter do when u cant keep him at bay??? the same will go for other pressure fighters at 147. Crawford is going to a weight where bigger fighters will actually be able to use their size against him so until i see what crawford's power looks like at 147 ill stand pat on saying he'll clean up the division. TC ain't a joke, i see Brook as Spence toughest fight at 147lbs i guarantee Thurman will be an easier fight, just ask Porter who fought both, but now with Crawford coming up he may be the toughest in the division for Spence. I wrote on some boxing channel against what tank Davis was saying against Crawford and some brother reminded me that Terence Crawford isn't P4P king because he fought no body period. He will be #1 P4P boxer is he beats some real opposition. My point is that Terence Crawford is special talent. When an exceptional boxer fights a very good boxer, the good boxer becomes ordinary. That is not because the good boxer is not good but because he is fighting someone that has special skills and talent. A case in point is Mikey Garcia vs Errol Spence. Mikey was made to look bad when in fact he has been excellent in other previous fights. As to who is #1 P4P king, your guess is as good as mine because there are so many names flying around in the mix. Only time will tell.
