I've known Manny ever since Gerry Penalosa got him started as a teen. My Home in General Santos City is just down the street from his. Watching him spar in his back yard, seeing his gloves as a blur, I knew he' be a force some day. But what impressed me most through the years is his kindness and what he gives to his community.
