Nightmare does feed of negativity and bad feelings so if error was angry nightmare had a sorta of boost against him and nm does feed from everyone bad feelings so if someone else like dust,horror,killer nor ink nm could have won due to their bad past and lets not talk how hard nm would have won if everyone was there (aka le bad sanes), error has blasters which are a big advantage but as we saw they arent strong enough to go thru nm and his mobility makes him hard to hit but in the long run nm will win due to error getting tired or dying due to nm feeding off his bad feelings

I wouldn't say that nightmare would come back because negativity can't be erased. Negativity has existed much before he had, same with dream existing after positivity. Either could be gotten rid of and both negativity and positivity would still exist. They just represent it and do what they can to manipulate the levels of either to how they deem fit. Some Aus are older than DreamTale, yet they still had negativity and positivity. And if you start thinking about protons and electrons, and if dream and nightmare are only positive and negative, it would be impossible to have a form due to needing both protons and electrons. Opposites attract, meaning protons and electrons come together and form something. If it was just protons or just electrons, they would repel away from themselves. Therefore, nightmare can be defeated and not come back.

Reaper could not kill nightmare. Reaper does not know to target nightmares black apple, thus reapers soul destruction immortality bypass doesn't work. Also the power gap between nightmare and Reaper is not high enough for Reaper to overcome nightmares immortality hax. Reaper just doesn't have enough area of effect paired with enough power to destroy all of nightmares body, and even if he did, nightmare would just poof back into existence because Reaper himself has negativity due to the incident with reapertale toriel and reapertale chara. The others senses listed however... they all easily beat nightmare.

IVE WANTED TO SEE THIS FIGHT EVER SINCE I KNEW ERROR AND NIGHTMARE. This fight also does make a lot of sense. Error’s goal is do eliminate every AU except the original. Nightmare’s goal is to kill Dream and every positive feeling. Nightmare ofc gets stronger with negative feeling. An example is something like Underverse where Error killed off all the universes. Now Nightmare and Dream are heavily weakened since there are less emotions in the multiverse. So this means that Nightmare would be against Error’s goals Also Nightmares gets stronger with negative feeling. Error is very negative lmao.

So there one advantage for error and disadvantage for nightmare I don’t see many people talking about and that’s that error generally fights ink a lot… someone who, to most of the fandom, is equal to error, meaning that unlike nightmare, error would be used to fighting powerful people, as well as people who have tricks like regeneration. Nightmare on the other hand usually has others fight for him or is naturally more powerful then them… the only one who he does fight close to his power is dream, who’s usually had to fight people like killer first… nightmare isn’t used to being at the disadvantage of power

while it isn’t portrayed that often, error Is leagues above Nightmare and I think in Underverse Series it’s shown somewhat well because any interaction or mention of error or ink to nightmare it seems he try’s to avoid confrontation with them. Like in .4 of Underverse when error approached Nightmare about Ink and demanded to tell where he was, nightmare didn’t do his usual thing of getting upset that he was being bossed around he instantly gave a direct answer that he didn’t know and why he didn’t know instead of provoking any type of conflict with him. And in that same .4 later when error was about to destroy all the AUs, even though nightmare needs them alive to be able to get negative feelings and knew what error was about to do didn’t do anything to interfere or try to stop him

This is gonna be exciting! Okay, here goes my summary. My info is a bit better from last time since I noticed miscalculations. Error is LV9.999 sextillion, has 74.25 * 5.15^499,949,999,999,999,999,999 hp, 19.998 sextillion atk, and 999 def. With that amount of hp, nothing besides an instant kill could reasonably kill him, as it’s practically infinite. He has DT equal to Frisk’s and Geno’s strong will, so if he did die, he would just reset for this fight, since Nightmare doesn’t have DT, and he would also be able to refill the DT he lost. He has strings, which can instantly kill a soul, and also delete the code from the body. It also controls people. Nightmare’s goop will slow down the strings, but if he did let them seep in, he would be killed. Error’s blasters delete coded objects, and his bones deal magical-type damage, so the thumbnail is accurate. He is almost as fast as sound without teleporting. He has bad eye(socket)sight, but his strings negate that, since they target souls. He sometimes crashes, but we don’t know if that can happen during a fight. Sometimes errors block his vision, so that could stink for him. He has Hapbephobia, the fear of being touched, and that could give him error sight, but I don’t think this contributes when he’s in battle. Plus, Nightmare is goopy, and might not even trigger it. Error practically eats gods for breakfast. Nightmare has unique attributes (along with Shattered Dream). He doesn’t have a proper hp or def stat. Considering you have to destroy all of his cells before they regenerate, his base form would technically have around 37.2 trillion hp. He can arrange his tentacles in a defensive position to give him up to 999,999 def. Not enough to block Error’s attacks, but whatever. Since he one-shots Killer, he has at least 107,167 atk. Since he is goopy, he can only be hit by magical attacks or positivity. He has a large negativity aura, so he is very fast, but not as fast as sound. If he senses negativity in a person, he could slow down time relative to that negativity. I don’t think this will be applicable with Error though. He can dig deep into a soul and search for negativity and turn his opponent to stone or make them feel bad. He regenerates technically quickly, but he’s still immobile after a fight. He doesn’t have bones, blasters, or teleportation like a typical Sans variant. But he can use his tentacles to form attacks. He has four main tentacles, but he can make others. He also warp through a timeline as long as there’s negativity, but he can’t warp to special places like the void. He can make a negativity reality using the negativity from a slave, and that makes him significantly stronger. However, nobody except him can die in this reality, so he would have to reduce someone to 1 hp and then kill them by ending the reality. I don’t think this fight will apply that anyway, by the looks of it. He can take on all of his slaves at once, even without that special reality. With no negativity, he is weaker than Killer though generally speaking. So Error smokes Nightmare. A fight to the death could be frustrating, but Error has ways to kill Nightmare while Nightmare doesn’t technically. Apparently they have fought before where Error spared Nightmare so he could use him to find Ink for example, like what we see in 0.4. It’s a god killer vs a goopy boi who’s almost god-like. If Nightmare does initiate the reality, all you really have to do is just have blasters all around you and shoot like splash damage. You could also wait for him to be on one edge, then push him like what we see Cross do in 0.6 to open the reality. Vs base Nightmare, you just have to hit him with a big blaster and hope you hit all of him. Nonetheless, a battle with Error and Nightmare (my sixth and eighth favorite Sanses) should be very interesting, since they both have distinctive features. After watching: I love that little pause of joke where the strings just went through him. I’m glad I was correct that blaster spam was all that was needed. It was cool seeing Nightmare fight in his base body, because we haven’t gotten that in UnderVerse yet, and the VSS only had him grab stuff really (poor Phantom Papyrus). It was satisfying how the bones broke. Also, it looked like the fight took place in Nightmare Castle, which is cool.

@@IndoVjeverica 0. It’s like Fatal_Error vs Error404, but not as extreme. Fatal had no way of killing 404 because 404 has resurrection tactics, and Nightmare has no instant kills to kill Error. This fight is even more one-sided, since 404 only has 1 way to kill Fatal, while Error has multiple to kill Nightmare.

Hi Nec, thanks for the vid! Man, eventhough this fight only last for like 2 mins, it was very good in term of quality. And the face both of them made when Error realized he couldn't control Nightmare was hillarious :)). Keep up the good work! That aside, I also relieved that you made Error win. Even though I like both of them, Error is still stronger in the end, at least in my opinion because: 1. Error is destroyer of AUs, meaning he definitely has more LOVE than Nightmare since his job is detroying universes while Nightmare need many of AUs to survive to has negative energy from negative emotion so he would be weaker than Error in term of raw power. 2. Even though Nightmare could call his henchmen to fight for him, he didn't do that in the vid simply because he is awared that Error would control them or kill them instantly anyway. 3. The only advantage Nightmare has over Error is that in order to kill Nightmare, Error has to destroyed every Nightmare's cell, which required huge fire power (that Error has) and it still wasn't a guaranteed way to kill him. A quick observation of the battle. Nightmare stood his ground for a while, but it is true what Error said. Nightmare cannot regenerate his goop forever, making easy openings for Error, as Nightmare never attempted to dodge his attacks. He only used his tentacles, which are infinite, but even Nightmare knew that when he would a ton of tentacles, Error could just blast them and would get an easy opening, this didn't allow Nightmare to perform that many attacks against Error, not allowing him to self defend himself, just getting tired out as the battle progressed and eventually being destroyed by a ton of blasters. Error also was correct at the end, he didn't stand a chance as he couldn't even self defend himself that much against Error's attacks, and also, sure, he wasn't able to use his strings on Nightmare, but Error already knew that, which is why he missed with his strings, just to block openings from his attack. To be honest, Nightmare might've actually been able to live, but he didn't use enough tentacles, as he can summon infinite from his body, which would allow him to easily self defend a ton of attacks from Error, meaning he basically didn't actually stand that little of a chance, but he still couldn't stand his ground forever, as he has limits that can be surpassed by powerful beings, like Error. This is just a quick observation, correct me if I'm wrong in the replies, but this is my opinion as well, meaning you can just reply to this comment and correct any mistakes I did nicely. People usually get mad at me on these videos because my observations are wrong, but if they are, then you can just correct them without insulting me or bashing me. Also, one more thing before I start to correct my mistakes in this comment, this is just a quick observation and didn't have that much effort put into it, so a lot of things might be wrong here, as well, and you CAN kill Nightmare with magic attacks instead of positivity if there are enough magic attacks being fired at him and stuff, so you can't correct me with that. I still don't really get why people bash me with a ton of insults because of my observations, but sure, I guess, toxicity on KZbin, is not that rare. Here are some things I might've gotten wrong; Nightmare can use infinite tentacles at once. Technically this is wrong but right, due to him being able to summon infinite tentacles, but there is no number that is technically 'infinite.' Also some sources are non-canon where he can summon infinite tentacles, so I might be wrong about that. Error missed with his strings on purpose to block openings. This might be wrong, considering later in the battle he actually did hit him on purpose with strings. Nightmare cannot regenerate his goop forever. This is probably not true, as just a particle of him can allow him to regenerate fully, but if you destroy even every single particle, he will still die, so he is killable without positive energy. Nightmare had a ton of easy openings for Error. This is also probably not true, considering that Nightmare was able to block a ton of attacks throughout the battle, but my point still stands, however, this is because he wasn't able to attack most of the time, just because of Error using so many bones and blasters, so, yeah. Also, one last thing I might've gotten wrong. He has limits. Nightmare technically gets stronger with every single negative emotion or thought, meaning his powers are actually unlimited, so he can easily surpass Error with enough negativity, the problem is how many leagues over Nightmare Error is. He's classified as an error, which is well over a god. That's all, like I said in this comment, please correct me with every single mistake I made in this text, as this was just a quick observation and has evidence to back it up, which is why I chose that this happened because this is just a quick observation, so many things happened in this battle that I probably missed or many things I was incorrect about. That's all.

Yeah I agree with you for the most part. Nightmare tentacles so far are shown to be infinite in range and the amount he’s able to spawn, although its stated in their wiki and shown many times over that they are only able to summon four at once. This can get confusing due to the battle in Underverse, its never directly stated that he can only summon four besides in the Undertale Au Fanon wiki, which doesn’t site their sources and can be edited by anyone. I don’t think Error could kill Nightmare no matter how hard he tried, there’s a reason that out of the multiverse and star sanses that only Dream was stated to do so, this is due to Nightmare being the embodiment of negativity so they’ll come back due to being a concept rather than a thing. There was a google doc with lots of canon extra information on Nightmare, however, one thing I don’t really like about Nightmare is that fact that none of his abilities are directly defined. I know they’re gonna work on a Dreamtale movie so hopefully that helps. The creators of Underverse obviously have approval from the creators of Dreamtale, along with the creator of Dreamtale withholding information so it doesn’t conflict with Underverse. Both creators helping each other, Underverse can safely be considered somewhat canon. In terms of speed, Nightmare is fast going around Mach 50+ (He was able to slice the monsters in Dreamtale before they could react, placing them around there), however we don’t have a lot of definite stats for Error such as his speed. Overall, I think it’s still left open for debate and likely will remain so as Underverse continues and the Creators keep releasing updates. Dreamtale series hasn’t taken off much yet, and Error story is still a work in process

Тут палка о двух концах. Найтмер неуязвим к физическим атакам, а из-за отсутствия души и кода и к нитям тоже. Но даже если нанести ему урон (правда хз как это сделает Эррор) то Найт отрегенит. Эррор не неуязвим, но он бессмертен. Процитировав создателя Эррора, "он умрёт тогда, когда сам захочет". К тому же у него непостоянные ОЗ и скачут от 1 до 9 999 999, так что опустить их до нуля почти нереально. И из всего вышесказанного получаем, что победит... Барабанная дробь... Найтмер! Он не убьёт Эррора никаким способом, но сможет, к примеру, разорвать на части или проткнуть насквозь. А Эррор даже не ранит Найтмера, так как не атакует позитивными эмоциями

У них уже есть души, и это яблоки, что они поглотили. Они более не бессмертные. Найтмера хоть и трудно убить, но он не бессмертный. Дрим более не бессмертный, и его легко убить. Nightmare actually doesn’t have a chance. Errors have practically infinite hp, and Nightmare doesn’t have an instant kill. If he did somehow eventually kill Error, he would just reset.

I knew error was gonna win, if it wasn't for nightmares fast Regan and no soul, nightmare would already be dead from the moment error used his strings on him. But because of nightmares fast Regan and good blocking skills the fight lasted longer. Also the reason why error won cuz his attacks went towards nightmare faster and hit him faster than his Regan
