I always figured Agent Carolina's name was... Carolina. I assumed that's why the Director chose to do something as wonky as name all the other Freelancer agents after states. Choosing code names based on state names let him talk to his daughter using her first name without any of the other agents realizing he was being more familiar with her than he was with them. That would explain why Project Freelancer reserved other dual state designations like North Dakota and South Dakota for siblings and assigned them the entire state name, but did not follow form in reserving North and South Carolina for related agents or assign her one name or the other, but rather just the general designation Carolina, as if they knew in advance they never intended for there to be another agent named Carolina in the program.

Those Church's slowly escape from the timeloop. Here's a brief chronology of how it happens. Church goes back in time first time, meets Gary, waits 2000 years and goes back to sidewinder then fails. Church goes back in time again, meets other Church copies, meet up and try to stop the bomb, but fails again. However, during these two failures, one of the far future Church copies manages to suceed in returning to their future each time. The process continues, and eventually Church turns yellow, lives in Cabooses brain for a while and then gets killed by Church who was going after Omega and Tex in Cabooses head, gets out and then goes back to sidewinder. Afterwards, Church finally figures it all out and gives a talk to one of the future variations of the Church, who manages to then go to the future. Church then goes mental, has a talk to a past variation, and then manages to go back to the future. It's an infinite loop, fairly simple. These Church's are infinitely existing and will eventually meet their demise in the command centre of Project Freelancer by the EMP, along with Beta, Gamma, Delta, Theta, Sigma, Iota, and Eta.

It kind of shows how much Church cares for the Red and Blues, the thought of them not all surviving was torture to him and forced him to split. The icing on the cake is he experiences time 205x times slower so in the end he would of been running countless scenarios through his head and it it's very likely in more than a few of those, he survived but the Reds and Blues didn't. It just goes to show how much he really cares, he could've just made an out for himself, but decided to save the Reds and Blues instead, can you imagine how tempting that would be? This will likely never be seen, but I want to call bs on the alpha being dead. In the second half of the project freelancer arc, we see one of the agents (York I think) use an emp device to deactivate the enemies jeep. The fact that their AIs survived and their helmets didn't go dark leads me to believe one thing. They're emp proof. Meaning it's possible that the alpha survived, after absorbing the other fragments and possessing a unsc soldier to escape. While we won't know if this is the case until later down the line, it is possible, and they can't get rid of church forever. He's one of the things that makes RvB RvB. The series wouldn't be the same without him, and if roosterteeth decides to bring him back, this is the best way to do it.

So I have a theory about Church, I believe that just how Tex will always fail her goal, because that's how ths Director remembered allison. Church will always return after dying especially after sacrificing himself for the cause he believes in, because thats how the Director remembers himself. After Allison Died, the Director most likely mentally broke down, and in a way decided sacrificed himself (At least his morals and his reputation) for a cause he believed in. Thus came back as the Director.

Ok, I was listening to the Season 13 soundtrack (cause that's the kind of guy I am) and in the song Armonia there is a woman's voice that says a few words. Keep in mind that Armonia is the song that is played at the very beginning of the credits of Season 13's finale, right after Church dies. She says, "Yankee, Echo, November, Delta, Echo, 2, 4, 1, 10, November, Delta, Sierra, Delta, India, Delta, India, Tango". These are all letters of the phonetic alphabet (and the numbers from Contact). Well, about the Alpha, we don't know if he truly died, Red vs Blue has a habit of taking small things that are often looked over as nothing and making them into plot points. I believe it was in Revelations where Caboose says "Maybe, Church used Wyomings time power and-" before he was hushed. What if Caboose was correct? What if Alpha had actually used the Tempural Distortion unit to save himself aswell as take down the Meta but the EMP caused it to short circut and instead of going back in time he was shot into the future.

I think it's important to point out that Charon industries has been revealed to be a major behind-the-scenes factor in the entire RVB saga. After the events of reconstruction, project freelancer collapses, and further development of these AI's and armor tech is transferred over to Charon industries. So I don't find it entirely outside the realm of possibility that someone (either the director, or the chairman) was able to recover the storage unit from the Meta while his armor was in lock down. So I believe that somewhere, most likely in the care of the "chairman" the Alpha is still alive, but hidden from the UNSC.

But how does Epsilon have Church's memories of Tucker, Caboose and others? Epsilon was locked away in a facility from which Church/Alpha and Wash saved him. Epsilon survived EMP, but Alpha with memories of season 1, 2, 3 etc. didn't, then how did Epsilon know names, personalities and rest of the stuff related to original RvB gang?

It wasn't that Epsilon had too many memories and that gave him an expiration date, it's the fact that he didn't have enough power to run too much at once. First with Carolina pushing too hard with her enhancements, then needing to power the Meta armor for Tucker. It's like a computer, there's only so much memory a computer has, when you reach the limits it becomes slow and doesn't work as well. Unfortunately, purging the memory for Epsilon meant actually deconstructing himself, leaving just fragments that only had enough power for the battle ahead. Epsilon would have been fine if it wasn't for the fact they had that final battle.

That last thing you said didn't make sense. Meamories don't just fade, they get pushed away as new meamories are formed. So, Epselon (the meamory) can't fade without growing, essentially reversing it the process.

Alison Church didn't die she was just very hurt and she came back as Texas which explains why in some seasons she is called Alison sometimes and the reason Church (From Blood Gulch) remembers her is because he is Epsilon which holds most of the memories of the director. Keep in mind that the person the A.I's are based off of is the director which means Church (From Blood Gulch) remembers her. If you understood this please leave a like. Also the reason the director is so hard on Carolina is because she is his daughter This is all just a theory because I mostly understand the story except for some of project freelancer Please correct me on any of this

Has anyone ever notice or propose why their are some "added" characters to blood gulch and the teams. And how blue team use to been tucker, church, and FLOWERS the dude who was secretly sent off to blood gulch. and how doc and CABOOSE were added. Look back to all episodes with FLOWERS/Florida he seem a little off and if he was sent on a secret mission to be in blood gulch possibly to hide church but maybe also he would be tested which resulted in higher voice, lower intelligence, and super strength as well as same armor color.

RvB seems to take a view of identity based of "if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, then it is a duck" and state of mind rather than continuity of consciousness. There are numerous examples across different characters. When Caboose was infected with the Omega AI he became O'Malley. Even after the Omega AI left him and infected Doc, Caboose still channels O'Malley on two occassions. For that matter Doc shares his body with Omega/O'Malley after being infected and even after he no longer has the Omega AI he also still channels O'Malley. Taking it further Epsilon interacts with memory versions of all the other AIs including Omega, he even alludes to having learned the body hoping trick from Omega even though Epsilon never met the original Omega. Alpha interacted with a recorded memory of Delta that Delta left in Cabooses mind. Epsilon's memories of the other AI also are able to manifest themselves when he is unconscious, first in the Reds holo chamber and later when he is knocked out or occupied. Beyond that are the multiple versions of Tex the Reds and Blues interact with, first the one in Blood Gulch, later the version who beats up the Reds at the Freelancer base who later gets trapped by the Meta in the Epsilon memory unit, and finally the dozens of Texs who the Reds and Blues fight including the core version Epsilon convinces to go back to sleep. Basically even though characters should have discontinuities in knowledge or experiences if they act like the character, they are treated like the character and any discrepencies are brushed aside.

He erased his memories and split himself into fragments so that those fragments could help run the Meta suit. So while the character of Church may be retired, the fragments he leaves behind will continue to exist.

They started on sidewinder and a bomb that was in church blew them into the future but the only reason it did that was because church is an A.I so instead of messing with his systems the bomb plus the robot body plus church aka at that time Alpha created an Time loop witch blew them into the future.

they never went to the future. the bomb melted the snow and church was being put through a sim like what he did when he was in the memory unit. Other then the stuff caused by Wyoming's tech, there was never any time travel

Quite frankly there is no REAL answer. At least right now. A lot of the Blood Gulch Chronicles has had to be swept under the rug a bit in order to keep continuity.

It's not really explained in the show but it's a creature from the Halo universe called an Huragok or an Engineer. It's uncertain how much of information about it Halo is the same for Red vs Blue. In Red vs Blue, Charon Industries worked with cryogenics and they had this alien in storage. That seems to be the whole reason that Project Freelancer fought the 'Insurrectionists', was in order to steal that alien so it could put together the fragments. It was weird that they haven't explained it better.

If they put all the fragments back together couldn't they revive him? After season 13 it seems everything had went back when chruch is alive aka jimmy. What happened to our friends in season 13 that cliffhanger set the mood for chruch but not everyone else. I only watched up to season 14 episode 2. I just find it weird that they skipped our heroes that was with chruch. Did they just went back to comdy for a couple of seasons and get back to the cliffhanger but I'm going to keep watching but just wanted to put that out there.
