I was 10 and there weren't supermarkets yet in my town, so my mother used to send me to buy food in many places. One day I lost a banknote out of my pocket. Back home I was strongly scolded but after lunch time, this song brought peace to our souls.

Well since we're admitting stuff, I'm a 68 year old who's played this wonderfully made song many many many times. I think it's the other-worldly background vocals and the way the lead singers voice blends... and maybe partly because as a kid I watched the Donna Reed show every weekday.

I was a teen in the 60s…we had the best music! We were there at the birth of Rock n Roll….we watched Elvis come aboard…then Ricky Nelson and the boys that followed! As I look back I have such fond memories! I turn 78 in November and still listening!
