1997-1999 were GOOD ASS years. Neo Soul was going, Hip Hop was going, The rest of the Marleys were appearing and there was this futuristic african style going on that lasted till like 2004. It was because of Erykah Badu, The Roots, OutKast and the rest of that movement. I'm happy I was raised through those years because im living my life how they did with a conscience . :)
