This Crocodile relative is new in the Media. Well, Erythrosuchus & the rest of its kind might have been published in most Books about Mesozoic Dinosaurs & Books about all Prehistoric animals. No doubt that there’s a collectable figure of one of those as well. But this is possibly the 1st time Erythrosuchus comes back to life in the media which is either the shows or sometimes the movies extinct animals can only be brought back to life.

I've seen Erythrosuchus mainly in illustrations in older books. Seeing it now in animated form is just wonderful!

@bkjeong4302 Yup, the limb posture is incorrect, it did not walk like that.

Whoa… I never thought that an Erythrosuchus would be this deadly despite being so very slow and very bulky in size. But if a monster like that was still around today, then neither of us would be safe.

Man, Erythrosuchus looks like a desert nightmare. Wouldn’t want to run into this guy in a dark alley.

Did Erythrosuchus have lips? Also, it's walking like how a reptile should be walking.
@killianft289
@killianft289 Жыл бұрын
@@darkpandalord3844 did he had lips? The answer is yes Erythrosuchus was a terrestrial archosaur in a dry environment. And if you limitate by reptile walk there is a lot of ways they could move around and for him being more speedy and swift, as well as being a fully terrestrial animal he should going at least faster and more smoothly than a very tired monitor lizard with arthritis a little bit more upright position would have been better as well. Edit rewatch the clip to be sure of movement he did rn he kinda look like a very sluggish salamander just being super slow limited movement and the same lil jump to catch preys. Not very fitting of an active predator.

@@killianft289 Correct me if I’m wrong, but are you sure the proportions of its limbs are inaccurate. I mean what if they are accurate, that there like those of crocs. But because it’s shown moving slowly, it gives of the impression that its limbs are like those of a lizard. So it’s just movement that’s inaccurate.

For me, it's more like the fact that their eyes were opened to the fact that their species were no longer alone on Earth.

Or it's more of the fact that the erythrosuchid is behaving similar to a Komodo dragon lulling buffalo and deer into a false sense of security on the island of Komodo

@@tylergamingshark8497 yeah cause the large species of Erythrosuchus didn't exist with Lystrosaurus, obviously it existed with larger forms of Dicynodont. Erythrosuchus was also found to be a decently fast runner especially at ambushing. I don't know man, this documentary just crap all over Erythrosuchus
