You are the bomb Diggity, after spending several hours watching KZbin videos you finally showy me how to seat the two throttle wire connectors into the correct area so I was able to properly seat the round Dashboard screen seats properly so it stays flush and seats properly. Again you are the man, A man among men with sword and pen!!! (seriously it’s been hours and hours that I’ve spent trying to find out how those connectors are supposed to go in so the dashboard seats properly. Very explanatory! Firstly I was hearing a little sound coming from the throttle when I moved it, so I thought it was the magnet that went out (as you show in your other video), but when I opened it I saw that the sensor was broken. Anyway, thanks to you I managed to change the brakes by myself easily! Thanks a lot! =D

@@MrMisterpag The Internal battery needs to be replaced by a certified technician. This is for safety and warranty reasons. Also note that in order to get access to the internal battery you will need to break the warranty seal. Once that seal is broken the entire warranty on the machine is voided. We know that some of our riders are technical or mechanically inclined and want to be hands-on. We just want you to be aware of the consequences of attempting to access the main battery.

My front tire is locked up on my es4, it spins but force is required and the scooter makes some bad noises, would this be a solution to it? Sorry i know this is fairly vague but its my first scooter and i have no clue what im doing, i dont have the app cause the scooter is modified.

Watch out, the hole in the diagram marked to push your display out is the wrong one. Its not the the ones the wirse come out of like it shows in the pick, its the obviouse round hole above. When i tried that hole it didnt work so i tried going through where the wire were, thankfully the beepy speaker in there took all the force, hopefully it will stop beeping now. :) Thanks anyhow.

After about a week of driving mine turning on the headlight of the ninebot makes the throttle not work, it won't drive. The rear lights blink as if I'm breaking and the display becomes a bit more dim. If I turn off the headlights again it works. I have put on an extra battery. Could this be a loose wire?

Interesting! I disconnected the headlight and everything started working as expected again. Connecting a PC fan I had lying around to the headlight output did not cause the issue to reappear when I turned it on by switching on the lights. This tells me there's probably something wrong with the LED headlight, though it could also be the circuit board. Not sure as I don't have any similar load to test it with.

Gabriel Lundmark Segway attributes the issue to a defective circuit board. They replaced mine and it's working perfectly again. I find it remarkable though that you were able to connect a fan to it without issues as that seems to suggest a problem with the headlight.

Hey Ninebot U.S thanks for the video! I think is great. My brake lever is getting stuck when being applied. It's getting harder to ride cause I have to manually bring the lever up while I am trying to get going again. Should I change the piece or is this issue reparable? Also, the alignment of my ES2 is skewed to the left. Can you guys give me some advice as to how to fix this as well?? Thanks :)

Diego Zito check to see if your handle bar grip is too close to the lever. This happened to me. It just needs to be pulled away like 1/8 of an inch and the lever will snap back like it should.

The brake and throttle connectors should be inside of the gasket. There is room under the board when you separate bottom plastic housing.

I followed all the instructions (was for error 14). Magnets were in place. Build all back together. Error 14 appears to be gone, but now no beeps anymore. Are you not pressuring on the little “speaker” when pressing out the display and that resulted in the kickscooter not making any noises anymore? I have ordered new charge brake and display circuit board just to be sure. Must admit that the kickscooter makes a lot of fun, but robustness is not that great.

No. He's pressing inside the little hole. The large where the wires comes out is where the speaker is. If you pressed it - yes very big risk ruin it and much more.

HifiCentret I saw it last Friday when replacing the handles controller / dashboard. There is indeed a little hole underwhich there is directly black plastic: that is where you need to press as it is then on the protective plastic cap underneath the dashboard unit. Learned it the hard way :/

I just bought an ES4 from Ebay, and from my research online the ES4 is basically just an ES2 with extended battery. However, the ES4 that I received has "matte black" steering column ( so pretty much all black) compared to many ES2 review videos I saw are all silver (like yours). For sure it is not an ES1 with external battery, because mine does have rear suspension and button led light. I am kind of confused why my ES4's color is different than others.

There was a limited production of ES2/ES4 that were produced in all black and usually cost a little more than the silver (sport model) Yes Bird scooters are black but they are ES1 models because they have a solid rear fork instead of having the rear suspension like ES2/ES4 models.

Only a certified technician can replace a control board. If you replace your's, you will get an error 35 which means the control board needs to be activated. Only we have the program to activate them.
