I met Esai about two or three weeks ago in Puerto Rico. It was at a beach near piñones. I didn't realize who he was at first. He was very down to earth. Us and our friends hung out for a while. When he was leaving the beach he told us who he was then treated us to ceviche and gave us a ride back to the hostel so that we didn't have to get an Uber. Real stand up guy

No one else could have played the role of Bob. I feel like nowadays, they would have cast an authentic Mexican American actor (Morales is Puerto Rican) but you can tell they cast the perfect actor for this complex role.

I have always admired his acting and my opinion he is a real good actor and I don’t know why he doesn’t work more in films unless he is more behind the scenes or if it’s by choice cause he is very talented. I was little when he filmed Bad Boys with Sean Penn and was great and of course he was my favorite character and had the best lines as Bobby although it’s a true story he had the great scenes. Would love to see him more in films
