Kaliope is a modern day siren. This song even 7 years later still brings me to tears, and brings the goosebumps. And not just the scream, even though I know its there, its still just this enchanting journey she takes you on and you just cant stop listening to her.

I love how her performance is natural, without anything special happening on stage, only her voice and her song. Another song from Macedonia to react to, from 2006 our best result ever (12th).

Such an underrated song that year, it should have been at least Top 5 with that killer vocals and this entry is the last time FYR of Macedonia went to the Grand Final. I saw this notification on my way to work and I was like "Noooooo I'll be able to watch it only later!" Here I am :3 Kaliopi's famous high note xD So epic and iconic, just like her! If anyone wants to do that you can print out the entries list from wikipedia (wiki/List_of_entries_in_the_Eurovision_Song_Contest) and then start checking them off as you listen to them. I can guarantee otherwise that you're going to forget what you've already listened to (if you listen out of order) since some songs from different periods start blending into each other. It's an ambitious project to be sure, I'm a huge ESC fan and I haven't listened to all of them. I think it's absolutely fine if he skips a bunch, people are recommending him highlights and lowlights of the contest, there are a bunch of mediocre forgettable songs that are in there too which definitely aren't a must-hear or must-see. I just checked for fun though and if you print that Wiki page out in A4 it's 57 pages long in portrait (88 in landscape).

Jake, I ve written many times the same message, but you never read it. Please, react to GREECE 2001 (3rd place): "Antique - Die for you". The singer is Helena Paparizou, who represented Greece at 2005 and won the competition that year with the song "my number one" to which you already reacted. Best Macedonian entry ever. There’s some interesting ones from the soon to be North Macedonia. 2004 was dramatic (RIP Tose). 2006 brought reggaeton to Eurovision. 2007 is good. She’s also very pretty. And then there’s 2013 (RIP Esma).
