This reminds me of Rising Storm 2 in a good way. I'd love to see a smaller-scale version of that, especially if it embraces the infantry combat of Day of Defeat. You definitely got my attention with this one! Also glad that the ARVN and ANZACs will get some love here.

This looks cool as hell! I enjoyed DOD:S immensely, but no other game afterward hit the same for me. Every game like it afterward focused way too hard on the realism factors for gameplay. I’ll be keeping my eye on this.

the tank-payload mode sounds like a pretty cool idea, It reminds me of an obsidian conflict map I made when I was like 13 years old that was a similar concept but co-op. of course, if this got implemented than it would be way better than anything I made back then.

I am currently downloading this game and although it doesn't really have a playerbase right now, I am fine with playing againist bots. I am even more hyped now to play it after watching your video and especially hearing about the future addition of ANZAC troops, being a New Zealander myself. I see they also plan to do the Rhodesian War which would be awesome to play. I had a reliever teacher when I attended school who fought in the Rhodesian Light Calvary who was awarded their highest medal, similar to the Medal of Honor. So after hearing his stories I have been interested to see a game based on that war.

I’ve been looking for a Vietnam game to play and this looks right up my alley. I would try Rising Storm 2, but I’m not sure yet.

Seems like it could be a pretty awesome game. I found out the existence of this because I randomly clicked on one of the authors of a GMod addon I was looking at on Steam, and his description had me discover that he was a programmer for "Military Conflict: Vietnam", so I went and checked it out. The site for the game and its social media accounts seem to be abnormally lacking in content, but I found your video shortly after and it looks pretty sweet. My initial thoughts were "don't we already have stuff like Rising Storm 2 for this?" But after seeing your video I see it looks more like a improved version of CS or DOD/DOI or whatever (which I guess adds up considering the engine lol), as well as being similar to COD in that it's not as focused on being super realistic, and seems to lean more toward casual fun. Someone else in the comments mentioned the market for this kind of stuff being oversaturated which I can believe, but I dunno, I find myself interested at least. Just hope the development is ran as a tight ship or something, would hate to see a project like this sink due to dumb community drama or anything.

For me, it looks extremely uncanny it's like in an alternative universe where Day of Infamy, CS:GO, Lef4Dead, Rising Storm 2: Vietnam and CoD never happened, and this game was made instead of them, but at the same time it looks really cool, I see that there are a lot of interesting weapons including some soldiers made modification like the bar with welded magazines I hope there is or will be an FG-42 (There are reports of VC using this unicorn rifle in combat) The only thing that I hate is that M1C Garand missing it's iron sights.

While it definitely does look interesting (And the fact that it's on the Source engine is pretty cool) It's a shame it's just a PvP Vietnam shooty game. There isn't nearly enough co-op or singleplayer shooty games set in the Vietnam war and this fact makes me sad.

The game isn't avaible to be selected in the settings, It's close to that Insurgency mod Day of Infamy, so I selected that as it's close to this game and the most recent.

My big hope is you can choose your character (ARVN, US or ANZAC) regarless of the battle. Thats the biggest thing I hate about RS2 Vietnam. I love ARVN but nobody ever picks them and since that has no bots or anything I can't play them. Its infuriating. I hope this game lets me choose my soldier from any allied faction.
