My 100th video! This escalator whisks passengers off the casino floor on the 2nd level up to the restaurant level on the 6th floor. The fourth floor is casino office space. What are the 3rd and 5th floors? I don't know! But I've always suspected that the 3rd floor is part of the catwalk system above the casino floor, behind the "mirror" ceiling panels. After watching the video again I'm pretty sure these are Westinghouse escalators. Yet another clue in the hunt for the identity of the tower elevators!
Even though I've rode this escalator in the past, this time I noticed that the decking with the fountain and flower pots may have been a retrofit. I've said that the Revel should have had decking like this, which provides a drop zone, even an unprotected one, in the event that a passenger goes over the handrail.
But one thing I can't believe they don't have is slide guards! I would imagine at least one drunk patron has rode down the decking like a slide! Also you notice someone apparently smashed out the balustrade on the "down" escalator, which was apparently repaired with duct tape (classy!).
