What gets me about this movie is they changed the first part of it. I saw it at the theater when it first came out, and there's a scene where Air Force One is flown into the Chrysler building, the President ejects in "the pod" right before that happens. The scene showing the plane crashing into the Chrysler building has been taken out, why? Why did the movie producer decide to take it out later? A request from the CIA or FBI after 9/11? What's the story behind the change?
@cageshowproductions7212 Жыл бұрын
I think you may have a point there. It's actually kind of eerie seeing the twin towers in this movie, as plane heads towards downtown New York.

David Rockefeller built those building planned demolition to invade the middle east for oil. New Yorkers knew it since the 1930s-60s so they protested the Rockefeller family from the false flag until David Rockefeller bought out the new jersey port authority. Everything about Escape From New York makes the inferior sequel look more pussified! Escape From L.A. still haves good moments, but the sequel was done in the 90's so it makes sense! Escape From New York has much more darker atmosphere with everything surrounding it! Escape From L.A. is still good in most ways, but L.A. is more like an over the top action parody with bands from the 90's being part of the sound which makes it more inferior and pussified compared to what New York had to offer. Escape From New York feels more like a sci-fi survival horror with an original soundtrack and sound fx composed by John Carpenter himself. And the plot makes more sense in New York than L.A.
@julesf.meloborges8115 жыл бұрын
What the hell do you mean by "pussified"? Did you just came up with the word and thought it would look nice, regardless if it made sense or not? L.A. was a mess from start. Carpenter is not a good action director (New York proves that), yet the movie insists on many spectacular scenes. They all fall flat. It has the wrong director and a script that is pretty much doing the same thing over again but with a more "Post-apocalyptic" feel. It just couldn't work. I blame Kurt Russell for pushing the project.
